We did not intentionally decide to stay at Indira Cottages but due to being messed around by Villa Mandi we had to find somewhere fast and this came up in our search. As some of the other reviews mention, it is difficult to get to by car and entrance is by foot; but it is centrally located just off of... More

We stayed her 1 night and to be honest after another hotel messed up our booking we had little to find anywhere, on arrival the reception greeted us well and were very informative, they took us to our room which was clean and bright, bathroom was ridiculous as you could see who ever was in there and what they were... Perfect for ubud staying, close to the main area, two steps from monkey florest, nice rooms, nice breakfast , the staff is very friendly, you almost feel at home. Try the trip to the rice terrace and coffe palntation, with the guide, you will have a vety nice day.

Indira Cottages is a small and well looked after hotel in Ubud. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. However, it is difficult to get to by car and the entrance by foot is through a dangerous path that is narrow, muddy, uneven and rocky and poorly lit with motorcycles rushing past. Having... More

Indira cottage is a nice place to stay separated from the rat race of Ubud streets. We had a transfer from the airport so finding the place was no issue however it is a short walk from the main street, but this is one of its best features. It's away from the noise when you need it most. The hotel... More

Without a doubt this is the nicest place I have ever stayed. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very clean and in an ideal location in Ubud only a stones throw from the monkey forest and bars and restaurants. However, my favourite thing about this hotel had to be the staff, they could not have done anymore for us during our... More

The Indira Cottages are truly fantastic. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are very large, and the breakfast is delicious (and served on your very own terrace if you stay downstairs). The owner was incredibly friendly and willing to discuss Balinese culture with us, and the driver (Wayan) provided fantastic tours for two of our days there. This hotel is... More

I can see that everyone think its a great location, I don't agree. Its hard to get there by car and you either have to walk the loong way to the main street or walking through the monkey Forrest (something me and my sister really didn't want to). The room was not the best either, we didn't have electricity by... More

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, I'm glad I booked only 1 night. PROS: Great service – Staff were waiting for me as I had notified them of my late arrival. A staff member insisted on carrying my luggage to my room and never requested a tip, and the same service occurred for checkout. I had no problems about money, having paid... More

We stayed for 4 nights on the 2nd floor. The room was big and basic but sufficient. The location is great off Monkey Forest Road with eateries close by. Wifi in the room was strong. Breakfast was okay but not much variety. The fridge was very noisy but we just unplugged it. My biggest complaint is that the walls are... More
