We stayed here with mom for two weeks in January. We were very pleased with our stay. Our first two nights we stayed upstairs in the air-conditioned room (a/c quite unnecessary really) and the rest downstairs right next to the reflexology space. Both rooms were clean and kept that way for the most part. We enjoyed most everything. Fast wifi,... More

Out of the 6+ hotels we stayed in during our trip in Java & Bali this was our favourite. It is close to the Monkey Forest, Ubud Market, Ubud Palace, Heron Sanctuary etc as well as great low-priced restaurants. The rooms and environment were very nice, the reflexology was a delight and the scooters were cheap and well looked after.

To be honest, we were disappointed when we arrived at the B&B. The access to the hotel was shabby and uninviting. Once we engaged the staff waiting for us, though, the friendliness and warmth of the establishment shone through. During our stay, the staff's eagerness to serve was also obvious. To those who love art and a good massage, the... More

Stayed in a second storey room with big balcony. It was clean and spacious. Staff were warm and helpful. The location was close enough to the centre of town but still quiet and peaceful - except for the roosters at 4am!! The icing on the cake is papa's reflexology. Lying amidst his paintings, you are inflicted with deep deep pain... More

This is a great option for a stay in Ubud: the rooms are very comfortable and perfectly clean, the bathrooms are beautiful (hot water all the time), the staff is nice and super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the garden is beautiful, the breakfast is really good, and mama & papa are the best hosts: you'll feel part of the... Perfectly fine and friendly place in a pretty and green family compound. Good value. Good breakfast. And they'll rent you a scooter. The challenge is that Ubud is now no longer the peaceful lil' town. It's EatPrayLovin' discovered and noisy-----with roosters, construction, tour busses, scooters, wall to wall shops and on and on jangalang. Nothing against Sandat but we left... More

Beautiful and clean property, welcoming family, great location, and definitely a great value. There were some minor issues with ants and wi-fi reliability but overall really satisfied. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ubud!

Only spent a night here when arriving in Bali but was very nice. Arrived early and we where able to check in at 11:30am which was great after getting in to the airport at 6:30am. Room was big with good air con, did have a power cut 4-5 times through the night but only for a few moments. Staff where... More

I stayed at Sandat Bali for 22 days in Aug/ Sept and i must say i had a wonderful time. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Airport pickup by Mama and Papa's son in law was on time. Mama Wayan was great and her sister inlaw Mama Ketut who runs the shop just outside the main... More
