Amazing people, beautiful rooms and a great service! Stayed 5 nights and couldn't fault them at all. We were upgraded to executive room because they double booked the standard room (which wasn't a bad thing!) but we stayed an extra two nights and the price for the executive room was still very reasonable! Good location for restaurants etc. lovely breakfast...fruit,... More

I stayed at Sandat Bali in december 2014 and it was a really warm and perfect place to stay. The whole family made me feel like I was one them and they where so kind, not to mention that the rooms are really beautiful, peaceful (well not always because of the roosters) and clean. I had a really nice private... More

The room was clean and comfortable, the property relatively quiet, the greenery and walkways very appealing, and the young staff always smiling and helpful. I especially enjoyed the common kitchen which enabled us to meet other travelers while sharing the morning breakfast – a delicious plate of cut fruit followed by either omelet or crepe. There is purified water in... More

The rooms are simple but clean and spacious. Towels are provided but no soap (found that a bit disappointing) and no safety box either. Other than that you have everything you need. We had hot water and a beautiful balcony overlooking the lush courtyard and neighboring temple. By the way: tons of mosquitoes in Ubud and dengue going around, so... More

I am currently staying at Sandat Bali as part of a one month co-working program (Hacker Paradise) that is taking place over at Hubud. I arrived yesterday, so this review is mainly regarding my arrival and first night's stay. The hotel was challenging to find (there is one small sign out front that you have to catch, or else you... You can get a room here with warm water, a/c with a pool and delicious breakfast... All at a great price. We loved staying here and we're always well taken care of. Stay here when in Ubud, you won't regret it. You can also do yoga at the yoga barn, a 10 minute walk away and eat at dayu's warung,... More

Amazed at the location and value for money rooms. Breakfast is lovely and fresh (omelette or pancakes, fresh fruit, and coffee). But doesn't change daily. Pool and gardens are lovely and well cared for. All the staff are friendly and helpful. 'Mama' made us a lovely local dinner. Be sure to try this, just order in advance. 'Papa' is a... More

I was skeptical since I was referred by an acquaintance I met a dinner party the night before I checked into the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The location was convenient and it was a walking distance everywhere, all the people were friendly, and the pool was beautiful. I stayed in the superior room in front of the pool;... More

We stayed here with mom for two weeks in January. We were very pleased with our stay. Our first two nights we stayed upstairs in the air-conditioned room (a/c quite unnecessary really) and the rest downstairs right next to the reflexology space. Both rooms were clean and kept that way for the most part. We enjoyed most everything. Fast wifi,... More

Out of the 6+ hotels we stayed in during our trip in Java & Bali this was our favourite. It is close to the Monkey Forest, Ubud Market, Ubud Palace, Heron Sanctuary etc as well as great low-priced restaurants. The rooms and environment were very nice, the reflexology was a delight and the scooters were cheap and well looked after.
