We booked for a fan room and was upgraded to an aircond room, very thankful to the staff. They were generally very nice and warm, helping us with transfer arrangements and our enquiries. The location of the hotel is very good. Near to the centre, Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, Monkey Forest, all the eateries. Very convenient. We love the infinity... More

This was a real find, which we stumbled upon by accident. Upon arrival we were greeted my Mona, the resident baby monkey. Our bungalow was very authentic and rustic, which I like. If you want air condition and a TV and amenities, this isn't for you. The grounds are amazing! The breakfast is typically Indonesian version of what we American... More

My 2 friends and I spent months looking online for a place to stay in Ubud before stumbling on Dewangga Bungalow, and it turned out to be perfect for our 4-week stay. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Royal Palace, Monkey Forest, marketplace, etc, but inside the gate it is beautiful, peaceful, calm, and quiet.There... This place is something of a surprise as it is right in the centre of noisy, bustling Ubud yet is so peaceful and quiet. The well maintained gardens are extensive with tall fruiting trees while the sound of falling water pervades the air. The staff is very helpful while breakfast by the infinity pool is a great way to start... More

We loved our stay here. The location is prefect. The staff are very helpful. The pool is lovely. It is hard to believe this hotel is right in the centre of ubud as it is so peaceful. The spa was not open but the staff recommend starchild spa where I had the best hot stone massage ever. Will stay here... More

venture into dewangga bungalows on dewi sita street and be samazed at how big and beautiful are the gardens with a lovely infinity pool in the middle. An wide range of bungalows are available and considering you are in the heart of Ubud, they are very affordable. Add to this the wonderful owners and staff - a great place to... More

I tried to stay in other places after staying here but the gardens don't get much better than Dewangga. So it became my home away from home. It's so incredibly central to everything and as soon as you step inside the massive gates from the crazy outside you are in gorgeous gardens. The pool is beautiful , the staff couldn't... More

This was our first trip to Bali. We stayed here for 6 nights and now I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The owners and staff are all so nice and do everything possible to make you feel like you're at your home away from home. Its grounds are tropical, green, lush and gorgeous, the swimming pool is stunning and it's such... More

I arrived very late at night from the airport and was put into room 208. Avoid room 208 if you can - it has mould in the bathroom and the bedroom. I asked to be moved to another room the next morning and the staff were very good and accommodating, moving me to room 206 - the room next door... More

Ubud can be a bit hectic with mopeds, taxi touts etc, but once inside Dewangga bungalows you can forget all this. The surprisingly large gardens provide total peace and quiet in a traditional Balinese setting. The room we had was a superior double with more than capable air conditioning - essential arriving from a long haul flight straight into Bali's... More
