Me and my partner were here earlier today, we were initially going to stay for a week or 2. After eating a lovely lunch from a menu clearly marked vegan and raw served by lovely friendly staff we walked around their 'organic gardens' only to be mortified by finding sheep, goats, ducks, cockerels and a rabbit in tiny cages, the... Fun little place with character galore. All of the food is amazingly fresh and organic. Vegans and vegetarians will be delighted, but even if your tastes tend to be more carnivoric, I promise that you will have plenty of happy little taste buds. The rooms are fun and eco friendly. If you are not into sharing your space with a... More

We visited Swasti Eco Cottages restaurant twice. First time we had a "normal" dinner at the restaurant we were very excited. Food was very tastefull, good and service very friendly by local workers. The good evening in a nice garden restaurant led us to book a traditional dance/organic food buffet night, and what a disappointment! Food was average and not... More

We did not stay at Swasti Eco Village but loved, loved, loved Good Earth Restaurant. This is our very favourite restaurant on our many travels. We have been to Ubud 4 times over the last 5 years but only just recently "discovered" Good Earth Restaurant. To get there follow the path adjacent to the entrance to Monkey Forest which leads... First impression: serene and green. Great garden. We only ordered a French coffee and two smoothies. Though they were a bit slow on serving. On top of this all came after the other so we were not enjoying our drinks simultaneously. Taste of the smoothies was good, coffee was fine.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful three-week trip to Bali. One blemish on an otherwise excellent trip: Swasti Eco Cottages in Ubud. Our stay at Swasti was unpleasant from start to finish. 1. The French owner closed the swimming pool for an entire afternoon, with no notice to her guests, in order to host her daughter's birthday... I stayed just across the street but visited the Swasti Eco Cottages for YOGA classes with Yogi Suresh. It was fantastic! The atmosphere and the professionalism made me start my day fresh and feeling energetic afterwards. The cottages are decorated with lots of attention to details and everyone is very friendly! TIP: Please advertise the YOGA classes with the price... More

We spent three nights in an air-conditioned ground floor room at Swasti in mid-June and were really blown away by the aesthetic. The rooms are more like bungalows and have cool marbled floors, timber roofs, archways and a kind of seventies, ship-like feel…in the best possible way! Though admittedly that could have been the four poster bed and orange sheets.... More

We were warmly welcomed by the receptionist Ketut and that was the beginning of this fantastic retreat. The staff are all helpful and kind people and this positive aura filled up every single corner in Swasti! I loved the fact that they recycle and compost, grow their own organic food, and is so conscious about the environment. Breakfast was a... More
