Stayed 3 nights at this place. It is centrally located at Jalan Hanoman so it is within walking distance to everywhere in Ubud. As it is located at least 2 blocks behind Jln Hanoman (you got to reach the guesthouse from a small alley), so it is quiet from the hassle & bustle and traffic from the main road. I... More

This place was in a great location, we stayed here Aug 16-18 2014. You definitely get what you pay for. Only ceiling fan, no a/c. Breakfast was slow, some fruit and a pitiful egg sandwich (1 scrambled egg on bread) and no milk or cream for your coffee. Rooms felt a little damp but were generally clean. A Roaster woke... More

I have stayed at Kunang Kunang many, many times over several years. The central location is perfect for any Ubud activities. Close to the Yoga Barn, shops, bars and restaurants you won't need to go far. Great spas and massage places at the doorstep and the pool in the home stay is lovely. The staff are super friendly and helpful... More

We stayed in room 5, which was on the second of three floors in this hotel. Our room had a queen size bed along side a single bed. The room was clean, free of bugs, and had an AC unit we didn't need to use. The bathroom was clean, but we had to ask the housekeepers for extra toilet paper... More

We paid for, and got, one of the new superior rooms at the front of the property and it was truly lovely. Huge and nicely dressed king size bed, super quiet aircon and a big fridge, with a lovely terrace and garden out the front. The bathroom, while huge, was primitive and a bit grotty in comparison. As others have... More

Great place in busy Ubud. A few steps away from the Jalan Hanoman, with all it's shops and restaurants. These few steps lead you to a very good guesthouse where you find all the rest and peace you need. We could see the rice fields from our room. Small but beautiful swimmingpool, every day different breakfast, comfortabel room. Very recommendable.

For $20 CAD, the hotel was a good value, especially coming off of one month of hostel stays. The rooms are a little rundown and the bathroom was in need of a good cleaning. The private balconies are nice and they provide you with tea in a thermos throughout the day/evening. The pool is very small but very nice. Breakfast... More

It was my second time at Kunang Kunang, so I knew about the wonderful service and great place it is! Right in the center of Ubud, yet out of the street over looking the rice field is this lovely guesthouse! The pool is such a great place to cool off, always spotless! The staff is great, very kind and helpful.... More

Stayed in room 12, for 2 days, paid US$50 a night through Agoda. The room was large and clean, except for the bathroom floor, which had a big brown water stain. Bathroom gets swere gas, so keep the door closed at all times. Room had hot water, AC, NO TV, no phone. Wifi did work. Breakfast was included in the... More

My large (superior) room #10 totally overwhelmed the small air conditioner. Even at night the room was warm and humid--as the under-powered unit struggled to supply enough cool, dry air. No mattress cover on the bed. A single breakfast entree: one under-cooked banana pancake. The virtues of this guesthouse are central location and idyllic surroundings. It would be a considerable...
