We arrived in Ubud in the evening and we were greeted by the incredibly nice staff of Villa Sabandari. They offered us a welcome drink and then explained about the breakfast and the welcome massage (really needed). Our villa was gorgeous and quiet, in front of the swimming pool, such a refreshing view after many chaotic days traveling through Java.... More

The decoration is very nice as well as the rooms and the personnel. Very clean. The location is good. The place is very quiet. Perfect for couples. They serve breakfast only. Pity that they don't propose lunch or diner.

Not only were the accommodations outstanding but each member of the staff was just as wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ubud and certainly Sabandari was a large reason why. Every detail was attended to with care. An added benefit was that Dirk the owner was happy to arrange our tours with the most helpful guides possible. As a... More

Once we walked through the front gate, we knew this accommodation was very special. Immediately the gentle breeze, the pool & garden, and the view of the green rice field changed my mood from frazzled to relaxed. We enjoyed a 4 night stay in the Telek room. Breakfast and afternoon tea were an absolute treat! In my opinion, this place... More

Its really all been said before but here goes !! We spent four nights here this week in the Baris room which is upstairs with a lovely view across the palm trees and pool and gardens . The accommodation is first rate and would be very hard to fault . Worth a special mention are both the staff and breakfasts... More

This is our second visit to Villa Sabandari in a year - this is an amazing place to stay, simply beautiful - in fact you just want to stay there and do not much. The perfect balance between accessibility to Ubud (we would walk most of the times) yet peace & quiet with great rice field views, top notch service... More

Perfection! Dirk welcomed us personally to the Villa. Transported us back and forth to Ubud. It was nice not to stay in Ubud as it is crawling with people/tourist. The breakfasts were the perfect amount of food. We could have it at any hour of the morning. They had bicycles that we could use and a guide book had we... More

Lucky to have found this place. Villa Sabandari is located at the corner of Ubud town and that makes it my favorite place to stay in Ubud because you could experience the fresh misty air in the morning at the paddy field to start your day. The rooms are very clean and nicely design. Every rooms are with outdoor patio... More

I am so glad I found this spot on my second stay in Ubud. There are many places to stay both in and near town, but I would go back to this little hotel in a heartbeat. It is within easy walking distance of the busy heart of Ubud but feels far away, a gorgeous location near rice fields and... More

This place was really fantastic - the photos don't do it justice. Breakfast and afternoon tea is served on your balcony and both are amazing. Staff are great and happy to help you organise trips etc. We did the walk that is suggested through the rice field which was really good - helped us see more of Ubud than walking... More
