Immediately as you walk into the beautifully appointed villa you notice the infinity pool stretching out over the forest below. Breathtaking views of the river snaking through the mountainside. Amoris villas are the perfect balance between being secluded enough to hear the plentiful wildlife (and that’s about it) but close enough to Ubud central to hit up the multitude of... More

15 minutes outside the center of Ubud on the outskirts of a local neighborhood is Amori Village with 7 private villas and a main dining area that overlooks an eternity pool. Dragonflies stop for a sip from the pristine water as mophos and Javan kingfishers pass by. The grounds are well kept with jungle and rice paddies in the surrounds.... More

Thank you for your review. It was our pleasure having you as our guests and it was especially rewarding being at Amori during your visit and getting to know you. Your description of Amori shows how well you immersed yourselves in the Balinese life during your visit. I am sure that you will take home more than just the time... More

This quiet ubud hotel is a wonderful and restful break from Ubud's busy side. Kingfisher villa was quiet and secluded, but at night the nearby river lulls one to sleep. The crickets too, seem to begin their nightime symphony just as the sunset. Everything is perfect in the hotel, villa and grounds. When (after a day or so) you find... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It was a real pleasure meeting you both and having you stay with us at Amori. We are especially heartened to learn that you embraced the unique experience of the Classic Villas. As you discovered, they are reconstructed from 100 year-old gledaks from Javanese farms. And the location close to... More

This is my third trip to Amori Villa and it will most certainly not been the last. By the second day here I find myself slipping straight into the peaceful and relaxed Balinese lifestyle and feel completely at home. The staff are all such characters, and go out of their way to remember your name and make sure you have... More

Our family of 4 stayed at the Amori Villa over Christmas and from pickup at the airport to drop off, it was a wonderful experience. The villa was great for our family of 4. The infinity pool overlooking the tropics was serene and peaceful. There was plenty of seating and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool Although it is outside... More

Absolutely fabulous. We have just enjoyed 3 fabulous nights and we have little to add to all of the wonderful reviews. Attention to detail, attentive staff, great location, food, pool and Honeymoon suite all beyond our wildest expectations. Waking up to such great views and truly fantastic service in this beautiful oasis is well worth a visit when in Ubud.

We decided to stay at Amori Villa after reading the reviews on TA. We arrived late, after a long bumpy drive from the airport, it was dark, rainy and we were greeted only by a security garde who gave us the key to our room....A nice simple room, big bathroom but nothing exceptional...not the 5 stars luxury treatment we were... We had an amazing three night stay here - it's a very tranquil hideaway. The staff were incredible, always on hand to give advice about our trip. The food was delicious too! We'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit so memorable, from the minute we arrived to the moment we left.
