Friendly helpful management and staff, a gorgeous pool and garden and a great location. Comfortable rooms at a good price. Also good room / balcony / poolside food and drink service. Stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed stay.

Stayed there a couple of night. Excellent value and lovely staff :) good breakfast too. Good location, near monkey forrest rd, but you couldnt tell from sitting next to the pool in paradise. It's nice and quiet and you can enjoy the tropical surroundings. Would recommend it to everyone staying in Ubud.

We were not given the correct room we had booked. We were lied to about why and then given a very below average budget hotel room. The bathroom was terrible...the toilet leaked...the floor had major drainage problems from the shower...it made you frightened to enter. Breakfast was not the typical balinese standard which I always thoroughly enjoy...very watered down juices... More

I had the pleasure of staying at this property last week. I payed under $40 AUD a night, which for the area, is excellent value. I got a room, with air con, which was nice and basic. To the point of no mini bar or TV. Which was good ina way, helped you go out and about and see what... More

Was excited to stay at this hotel. Very difficult to find as are most hotels in ubud. As we walked down the alley way all seemed like it would good. Lady on reception was every nice, spoke good English and gave us the local information about the cultural dances etc. when we where showed to our room we where shocked.... More

We stayed in Gayatri bunglows 2 last week. I was very impressed by the property and the tasteful landscaping. The swimming pool is excellent. Our room no.4 was nice at the first look. Few pointers though to AYU, CINTA and BAGUS. The room needs better lighting, the bathroom requires hooks to hang clothes, bathing soap should be provided. Beyond this,... More

This place is run by a family for some years. The superior rooms are quite spacious, clean and good. Gayatri bungalows 2 is located in the monkey forest road, thus providing easy access by walk to many places of interest. Despite being in a convenient location...it's quiet n serene. Has a rice field behind and a good sized pool. Ayu,... More

We paid $45pn so were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised upon seeing the location and the grounds. We stayed for 5 days at the end of June. We arrived at around midnight after our airport transfer. A staff member was there to greet us and give us the keys. As it was so late they suggested... More

Summary: excellent value, perfectly located, green and tranquil Ubud ambiance, lovely staff, delicious breakfast (included), everything worked well in our room. We really enjoyed our week at Gayatri II Bungalows. The location is unbeatable: perfect if you like to be in the center of the action. Gayatri is only 100 meters (equidistant) from both the Monkey Forest and the Royal... More

We have been to Bali many times and we have stayed in many places, each offering various levels of comfort. For the first timer, it is easy to see the negative aspects, but have no concept of the battle with nature in maintaining a property in a tropical environment. Bali is hot and humid for most of the year. The... More

Dear Lydia, thank you for your kind words! Bagus, Cinta and I really appreciate all feedback and though we are absolutely aware of the shortcomings of Gayatri Bungalows, we are working hard to update the rooms and furnishings. We truly enjoyed having you stay here and hope to see you soon again! Kind regards, ABC Gayatri More
