You'll either love or hate the location - you walk down an alleyway off JL Bisma (it's signed), then turn left at the end and then first right along a rice paddy and it's the last house on the left. I walk quickly and for me it took about 3 minutes from Bisma. Personally I loved the location as it... More

We thoroughly enjoy our stays here at Hibiscus Cottages. It is just far enough away from the centre of Ubud in the rice paddies, so you can get the best of both worlds. We always feel welcomed and are well looked after each time we come. Nothing is a hassle for Kadek, Wayan, Ketut and Made. They are warm, kind... More

A recent visit to this place left me wishing for other accommodations. The place looks very well decorated and quite clean, but it lacks the basic things amenities. I had to ask for basic things such as soap, towels etc. The management was quite friendly in the beginning, but cooled off when I told them I had already arranged for... More

Ketut and Kadek Baloon are very anxious to make you feel happy and make your stay in Ubud as comfortable as they can. The Hibiscus Cottages are a little bit hidden from Ubud centre - and the trouble. Between rice fields this accomodation might be one of the more expensive ones (35$/night) but it is worth to stay here! The... More

The rooms LOOKED clean, and the breakfast was quite delicious with a great view, but we ultimately changed our hotel because we found the smell to be overwhelmingly musty not helped by the fact that our windows looked out on a wall. :/

We went just to have breakfast at the Hibiscus Cottages. You can eat on the 5th floor on a terrasse in between the rice fields, with a beautiful view to the mountains and to the sea. The vegetabel omlette and the pancake are excellent. :-) Enjoy it! Jolanda and Gisela from Switzerland

This place is so neat, you feel like you are part of the family. I loved staying here because it was so quite at night but still so close to everything. The owners arranged my Gillis trip and an Eco bike trip (which was awesome) thank you so much! Breakfast on the roof was AMAzing!

I thought Hibiscus cottages was great. I wish I had known about it last time I visited UBUD. One of the downsides of staying in busy Ubud is the noise, either from stray dogs, scooters, traffic, people and of course.... The rooster. Very happy to say Hibiscus was a quiet little gem, close enough to the shops and far enough... More

We stayed just one night as had to move on to Kuta but we wished we could have stayed longer. The setting for Hibiscus is much nicer than 'most' of the hotels and b&bs in Ubud - its situated down a nice road with plenty of small shops and nice restaurants but only a 15 min walk from the main... When I arrived in Ubud the place I wanted to stay in was fully booked. Made (the allround serviceman here) collected me on the road and showed me this place. It's just behind the road, a really nice, family owned little hotel with a view on the rice fields. Absolutely quiet, in the evening the only thing you hear are... More
