We visited Ubud Bungalow for a short break with my partner and our families. We are budget travellers and had stayed in Ubud before, however now we were choosing accommodation for a group that weren't accustomed to our style of travel, we chose Ubud Bungalow as it offered trimmings like air-conditioning and a pool, without the high-end hotel price tag.... more

We stayed in Ubud Bungalow for only two nights on a quick weekend trip to Bali. We had a lovely stay and hated to leave. Some highlights/points of interest: We stayed in Bungalow #8 on the ground floor (most if not all are 2 storied units). We found the room very clean, furnishings spare (no TV, simple bedside tables, small... more

I just got back from a week in Ubud, staying at Ubud Bungalow. what a find! Took the advice from others on Trip advisor and couldn't be happier. Wayan is a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. The room was gorgeous and private - and big - and cost me $20US including breakfast! Swimming pool was excellent and... more

These are really nicely decorated bungalows on a main road called Monkey Forest Road. The only downside is there is no A/C, but we did not need it, and some units have A/C. The bungalows are two storey individual buildings, with two units each. They are nicely decorated in the Balinese style, and are located in a quiet and beautifully... more

We have just returned from Bali and finished our trip here. This is a wonderful hotel- clean, safe and beautifully designed rooms and gardens. Wayan and his staff are helpful, friendly and accomodating. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was great. Wayan drove us to the airport which finished a terrific Bali break. Couldn't fault this hotel and for... more

We stayed 8 nights in late April 2009 (we got a discount for the length of stay). At this time of year Ubud was not too busy. 8 nights was not too long in this inland area - it is the cultural capital of Bali and there is a lot to see and do. It's a nice change from the... more

Just checked out today, Sept. 1st. We´ve been coming here for many many years and each time we come back we find something new Wayan has done to his hotel to up/grade it. Now he has wireless Internet available you can buy through voucher´s. Great as nowadays a lot of people travel with their laptops! All your business can be... more

We stayed here for 3 nights (wish it was longer). We were fortunate to get an upstairs renovated fan room for 2 nights which was very nice, although the older style rooms were very good also. There are only 18 bungalows located back from the busy road and set in immaculate gardens with a beautiful and relaxing pool area. Wayun... more

We stayed in the Ubud Bungalows for just 2 nights in July and cannot praise them highly enough. The location on Monkey Forest Road is great, close to restaurants and shops , the hotel is beautiful quiet and relaxing and very Bali style. We had an upper floored room with the beautiful vaulted ceiling , the pool was only small... more

We stayed here for 8 days and couldn't have been happier with our choice...its very centrally located and close to some excellent restaurants and shopping but quiet and off the main road in a tranquil well maintained garden setting. Most of the bungalows are in duplex units with stunning "Bali style" doors, windows and architecture with lovely wide balconies or... more
