From human aspect the park is clean and organized however I found the elephants living conditions to be terrible. NOT an elephant sanctuary; this place is making money by treating elephants in a manner I found appalling: 1) bull hooks (sharp metal sticks) are used to steer the elephants HOWEVER we saw visible blood on several elephants from the bull... Beautiful park, kind environment, lots of elephants! We had our elephant ride on Romano, a 24 year old female - she was beautiful and her rider was fantastic too! We then watched a show and has photos taken with the elephants, followed by a buffet lunch. Just note, take cash as drinks are not included.

We won't ever forget the two nights we spent here. We stayed in the Padi view rooms - lovely views - really tranquil in elegant surroundings. Being amongst the elephants was a wonderful experience. All the staff were focussed on making our stay memorable and enjoyable. Their love for the elephants was obvious. The experiences we had with the elephants... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and from check-in to check-out was just amazing. The staff are very friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay perfect. I had organised a special birthday dinner for my husband and I cannot thank everyone that was involved enough. It was absolutely perfect. We had booked a park... More

As so many other reviewers have commented, this place is truly magical! I have travelled all over the world and enjoyed some extraordinary moments but this place has to go towards the top of the list as one of the most amazing experiences ever. Yes, it is expensive, however, we were lucky enough to ask and get an upgrade for... More

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for something special when one of the keepers handed us a brush each and told us to scrub the elephant! Once we had done that we were over to the bathing pool where we rode bareback and enjoyed being soaked by the elephants. After a huge and tasty breakfast we... More

Like most people I was a little skeptical about the elephant experience due to the stereotype of poor treatment to these animals. However this was proved extremely wrong as soon as I arrived! It's clear this place cares about the animal welfare and giving a fantastic customer experience with the animals in mind. Each elephant has a trainer that they... More

After staying at so many affordable places in Bali this place definitely puts a much larger dent in your wallet, but they charge it because they know they can get it. I very much appreciated the educational videos they play in the rooms which allow you to better understand everything going on at the park, including the chain and concrete... More

My wife and I just got back we spent 3 nights at this amazing park.We stayed in the "Taro Suite" which is beyond words, The park itself is landscaped to perfection and the staff are so helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. The stars of the park of course are the elephants, this is an absolute must do experience. Altogether... More

I have to admit we had great fun washing and riding the elephants into a pool. Breakfast was great too and dinner was good but very haute cuisine as in not so much on your plate. So why average? Because being at the park made me realize they give higher priority to making money then to the welfare of the... More
