So the elephants are great and the hands-on experience you get with them allows the hotel to charge a premium price for the stay. You will pay orders of magnitude more for this hotel than anything else in the area. That's fine if the service is up to par, but I had the misfortune to arrive on a day when... More

We stayed for one night. I agree with other reviews in that we believed the elephants were free to roam.. the name of the place (and its website) suggests that the elephants live in a large area. We were surprised to see them chained up and in quite a small area. Despite this the elephants did not appear to be... More

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the experience. We rode elephants to dinner, around the park, fed them, bathed them, and went in the pond with them Its a wonderful opportunity to get up close to these magnificent creatures. The rooms are big and clean, the food is fine, and everyone working here is very friendly. It... More

My partner and I spent six nights at Elephant Safari Park last week and loved every single moment. If you have a chance to stay overnight, I would highly recommend it. You get much more of an experience and insight into how the Park is run than if you just come for an elephant ride during the day. Apologies for... More

Lovely place to stay...we stayed one night because it worked out that it wasn't that much more than a day pass. Service was great, it was 5* just like the rooms and little extras like gown and slippers. They do care about the elephants, you get the odd trainer who uses his stick which isn't very nice to see. I... More

Our stay and experience was excellent and professional, however we had to take 2 rooms as we have 2 teenage children and their rooms don't cater for 4 people so it cost $670. for one night EXPENSIVE. As for the care of the elephants, they do seem to be cared for well however they don't seem to have any freedom... More

I had read all reviews so had some mixed emotions but I went... Loved seeing and touching the elephants... They are not chained up all day like someone said... I witnessed the trainers giving them play time in their pool being free and enjoying their time. Yes you do see some in their circle (no walls or barriers) yes chained... More

Visited just for the day, and was pleased with the way the animals were treated here. The elephants seemed very happy, and with plenty of opportunity to hand feed and touch them, it was a terrific experience. The giant Amazonian lungfish swimming in the ponds was another highlight.

This place is wonderful and a great way to get up very close and interact with these beautiful animals. The grounds, accomodation, food and beverages are all A+ quality and defiantly resort style and lovely. A bit pricey but well worth the visit if you can, and do yourself a favor, stay overnight to get the "full" experience of an... More
