Lestari Bungalows are amazing value for money. It's worth noting that they are clearly aimed at the Japanese market which has a few peculiarities attached for Western travellers: Everything is in Japanese - all the information, signs etc - which can be challenging (unless you speak the lingo!); The rooms have two (large) single beds, which even when pushed together... It took us walking up and down for an hour and asking multiple restaurants and stores where to go but we found it down a skinny skinny alleyway. We stayed 3 nights here in a bottom floor room right next to the infinity pool; there was a wall of greenery to provide privacy however. Sitting outside was very peaceful. Our... More

Just stayed 4 nights here. A great place owned by a Japanese lady and her Indonesian husband but mainly run by a group of very able and friendly Balinese young men. We stayed in a room on the ground floor facing the pool at the back and it was perfect. Very quiet, clean and beautifully designed. They will take you... More

Stayed here one night but were so glad we did. It is a lovely hotel where the owners are really pleasant and more than happy for you to stay with them. It is in the centre of the main part of Ubud making all the shops, restaurants and cafés very accessible. The breakfast is Served to you on the veranda... More

Stayed for 11 nights in the two newest rooms and enjoyed our time there. Great location down a rather long but well-lit lane next to Laughing Buddha Bar off Jalan Monkey Forest. We could hear music at night but it was not overly loud. Rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and large. Mine on the first floor overlooked the ricefields while... More

The Lestari complex is still very modest, consisting of only 6 rooms (although more rooms are being planned) and a magnificent pool. The rooms are large, trendy and luxurious. We were lucky tot have the one next to the pool and with free view on the rice fields. Having planned to stay for a week, we ended up extending our... More

Stayed here for a few nights. Absolutely lovely place. Our room overlooked some beautiful rice fields and also a swimming pool. Staff were really friendly, room was very clean, breakfast was good. Overall great place to stay especially for the price.

This was my second time staying at Ubud Lestari after I decided to return with my boyfriend this year. The room prices are very good for such a modern beautiful hotel. With only 6 rooms and it being a few years old, it resembles almost brand new. Very good wifi. Pool was always basically my own on both visits as... More
