3 nights stay in their 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. A remote location but love the quietness & beautiful surrounding. Free shuttle to & fro town or nearby restaurant of your choice is available till 10pm & we hardly have to wait to get one. Service staff is friendly & breakfast is good but may be small for... More

There is not much more I can add to the other reviews. We stayed four nights in the Lotus Studio and everything was fantastic. I was nervous to stay outside the city center because I have trouble sitting still, but the villa staff was so nice about driving me in whenever I wanted. They were all so friendly and helpful.

The villa was beautiful and service top notch. There was always staff around to get a drink, answer a question, etc. The villa is on the outskirts of Ubud, but they will drop off or pick you up within the region. The local owner, Agun, was very hospitable and took me for walk in the rice paddies early one morning.... More

We have previously stayed at Villa Agung Khalia 2 years ago but this year we returned and spent 7 glorious days in its sister villa - Villa Maia. It is a large villa with two massive bedrooms, huge bathrooms, a large family/meals area and of course that pool - it is the first thing you notice as you pass through... More

We (family of 5 adults) recently stayed for 4 nights in Villa Maia, which is a 2 bedroom villa, separate from the other villas in the property. Firstly, about the villa itself - as described by other reviewers, it really is tastefully done up and is simply gorgeous. Both rooms are big, with huge bathrooms. This is one of the... More

As we were travelling up the bumpy road to the villa for the first time I thought what have I got myself into. But we were rewarded when we arrived and saw our beautiful villas. We had a private pool and the grounds are kept pristine. There is a wow factor here. What I liked the best was the staff.... More

3 nights for us in Villa Maia. It's a massive 2 bedroom private villa with it's own pool, separate from the other villas at VAK (which appear relatively private anyway). Can't speak for the other villas, just Maia. We loved it. First problem was deciding with wing we wanted to make our home. We chose the one with the larger... More

Truly remarkable is the only way to describe the experience of staying at Villa Agung Khalia. Firstly, I know the area and Bali well, and if you want to experience peace, quiet, nature, the true Bali ricefields and relax (but still be within easy reach of busy and colourful Ubud) then this is the place to stay. We were a... More

Just reading everyone else's reviews and what more can I add. Just back from staying in Villa Maia for 7 nights and it is AMAZING. The best place that I have stayed in Bali. The serenity, the beauty, the staff, the villa itself, words cannot describe the peace and tranquility of the place. The chanting in the background was beautiful... More

We stayed in Villa Maia for e3 nights in September this year. We had some trouble finding the place , at one point there are two roads , left and right and we took the wrong road. We got back on the right track. There needs to be a sign at this place. The approach road is a bit bumpy.... More
