This is an absolutely lovely small hotel with typical balinese architecture. The staff was very friendly and the entire premise well kept. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who likes to enjoy a more tranquil environment off the beaten track. The only downside was our day trip that we booked through the front desk. We loved staying here. The staff is modest and very service oriented and super friendly. The villa was very clean and comfortable with properly functioning airconditioning and good wifi ( which is certainly not always the case in Bali). The very flexible shuttle service is great. Just tell the reception where you wish to go in Ubud and they will... More

Perfect was my stay at Sungu Spa and Resort!! I traveled withy boyfriend and took spa massage and everything was just great. We went for scuba diving and a trek at mount agang and it was a 12 hours hiking but it was great experience.

The Sungu is a really great place to stay in Ubud. The place was really really good, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, and hey, I even got a room upgrade! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience here.

A great resort to stay with family and friends. The complimentary driver service was invaluable. Staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and a good sized serve. The free afternoon tea each day was a lovely touch too. Only about 15 minutes to walk into central Ubud.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 storey lumbung near the pool area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The villa itself was great with the semi outdoor bathroom/open air shower a particular highlight, especially when there was a nighttime torrential downpour!! The pool wasn't huge but was perfect for cooling down after a trip to see the elephants.... More

Our family of five stayed here for 4 nights on our recent Bali holiday. We had a Duplex Villa which offers lovely two story accommodation with separate rooms for the grown ups & kids. Both rooms were quite spacious with a huge bathroom on the ground level. The villa itself is very private having its own courtyard and patio area... More
