Bad: staff are not very friendly or helpful. Spoke to one receptionist about organizing a taxi and was quoted 700. then spoke to another receptionist 2 seconds later and he quoted 250. small room next to construction work. Bathroom's window is permanently open which allows all the mozzies to come in and wait for us when we shower or use... More

I'll start by saying the location was GREAT. Directly in the center of Ubud and inside of the outdoor market. However, the staff was extremely unfriendly, the beds were uncomfortable, and we did not have a/c or hot water even though we paid for it. The hotel has an interesting layout and we were very excited at first, however I... More

I wanted to treat my self for my last night and stayed at sanias. Liked the pool a lot but when you are in, it smells weird. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean. Staff is okay. Not super friendly but they would take care of your wishes. Breakfast is good. Fruitsalat plus omelet (or eggs in any other way)... More

In the very heart of Ubud lies a little gem called Sania's. As soon as you step into this place you will be stunned by the temple like architecture with extreme attention to detail. The rooms are pretty spacious with a cute view of the small but nice pool. Some rooms have ac others only a fan. And although the... More

Beautiful buildings just off the busy main streets and close to the markets. This is a really peaceful haven. Good size rooms. One four poster bed and a single bed. Bathroom with bath and overhead shower (not particularly powerful but did the job). Clean and well kept. We had a room overlooking the small pool. Each room has a large... More

Yes it is really stunning and the pool is great. The rooms are nice enough but the bath room was quite hot and smelly. The wifi worked Ok. The breakfast was not very nice. Found the staff there unhelpful and a bit gormless. No one ever said hello, goodbye or thankyou. Took a walk around and easily found a nicer,... More

Ubud market is completely crazy/noisy and then Sania's House is bang in the middle and yet so quiet and peaceful! The rooms are adequately furnished, I had a simple one with just a fan which kept me cool enough. Breakfast and tea/coffee service is great too. Visited in the quieter season and yet the pool was chocka every sunny day,... More

sania's house is set just behind the market and not far from Ubud palace in a quite pedestrian side street. the entrance is a bit concealed but once you step in you discover yourself in another world. the bungalows are in typical Ubud style, it seems to be in a temple. The pool is lovely and refreshing, maybe a bit... More

Great place to stay in Ubud. Situated right among the markets but yoi would never know. Beautiful accommodation set in a temple like environment. I had a basic room for 15 pounds a night which was fine. Staff were friendly and I would go back

We enjoyed our stay but found the breakfasts were not palatable with green-tasting bananas and poor coffee. The shower nozzles are too short to reach the hanging hook so we had to squat and shower. Tub drained slowly and there was no curtain. Other than these issues it's a good hotel with especially quiet and beautiful grounds. Staff and their... More
