Jati 3 Bungalows is in an excellent location; only a 5 minute walk to the Monkey Forest and close to restaurants, shops and bars. The pool is lovely with gorgeous views of the mountains. Unfortunately, the rooms are definitely not worth the price. Our room was dirty and overrun with bugs. It was obvious it hadn't been cleaned prior to... More

The good stuff first : located just off a Monkey Forest Road so handy for everything. Yummy banana pancakes for breakfast. Pretty pool area: Cheap. The not so good stuff : room is really basic, a tiny bit grubby, bathroom was never cleaned and the shower was just a little dribble of water. Had no towels at all for the... More

I've been here twice now. In 2012 we arranged a driver from Jati 3 to come to another part of Bali to pick up us. He came 2 hours late (and we missed the chance to do some activity while waiting). When we arrived to Jati 3 we asked the owner an explanation and something as a reward. We argued... More

When we first arrived we had our backpacks and had been traveling for a while. We were greeted by "we don't have cheap rooms" by the man at reception who saw our backpacks and drew a assumption. Not the friendliest of welcomes but after that the stay was good. At first we were put in a room on the ground... More

We booked two nights over the internet and were looking forward to some quiet and a relaxing time. Unfortunately we found there is loud construction work currently happening during the day in the complex - and right next to our room. They couldn't move us to another room and would not let us check out without paying half the full... More

Amazing what a difference it makes when you leave the ridiculously traffic-jammed noisy taxi-hawking Monkey Forrest Road and go down the narrow lane to Jati3 Bungalows. Peaceful, lovely infinity pool, good basic breakfast and very friendly staff. The complaints you may read must be for a few of the rooms on the lower level. Not true for the rooms around... More

What an awesome value! Jati 3 is down a little alleyway off of Jalan Monkey Forest in the heart of Ubud, but it feels miles away. Their infinity pool is warm, clean and tranquil. The rooms are very basic but spacious and clean. Breakfast is pretty standard for Bali. Good wifi, too. For the price you can't beat it. They... More

We booked on line and actually stayed six nights at Jati 3. We found it very comfortable and convenient for exploring Ubud and surrounds. Room was OK with a comfortable bed, working AC, ceiling fan and good water pressure with a good included breakfast. Not much hot water the first day but that was fixed after we spoke to the... More

I always stay here when I visit Ubud. Usually I will come to Bali about 2 or 3 times a year and I will certainly stay here. This place is with great location. The owner takes pride to give good service. I have seen that they try to improve this place as its always better each time I visit this... More

Great location, no car parking space only for bike or motorcycle. If you bring a car then you should park it somewhere in monkey forest road. Room was okay, bathroom not so much, the heater isn't that hot and the water pressure isn't strong enough. Love the balcony looking over the pool and the small valley. Very good price for... More
