Just what I was looking for. A real B & B, in the rice paddies, lovely rooms with views, service is wonderful. $30 downstairs $40 upstairs for extended stay (don't know if I will ever leave, at $40 per day or $1200 per month less than my rent). Love this place (still here)! more

We wanted to stay some what out of Ubud center, and after a very disappointing night at a different guesthouse (damp room, dark, overpriced!) we we immensely pleased to come to Sri Sunari. Nyoman and his entire family are accommodating, friendly and genuinely welcoming. This place is a family-run guesthouse, not a hotel per se and that is part of... more

this is a nice place to stay at. the rooms are nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful. the food is good and it is a beautiful place to relax and do nothing. also has free wifi. the upper rooms are the best. in the middle of nowhere, right between the rice paddies. the staff gave a free guided... more

We thoroughly recommend the Sri Sunari. We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2009 with our 2 children aged 10 and 7. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by the very helpful staff. The rooms were very comfortable and excelllent value-for-money with lovely big verandas the views from which were wonderful, over the rice fields;... more

This is a nice place to stay in Ubud, especially if you are looking to get away from a hotel environment but not into a backpacker type place. I found Sri Sunari to be well kept and the staff friendly. The wifi service was great, and I did not seem to miss not having a TV. The pool looked very... more

This is a charming villa in the middle of a patch of rice fields 20 min walking distance from Ubud center. Don't be mistaken by other reviews - this is NOT a charming distance from town because of the dangerous winding, dark nature of the roads near the house past the Arjuna statue, especially at night. There are no stores... more

Our family of 5 recently had the absolute pleasure of spending 4 nights at Sri Sunari, managed by the very affiable Mr Nyoman Astawa. It was the highlight of our two week trip around Bali. The Sri Sunari is a simple but tasteful 4 room guesthouse - 2 rooms upstairs with huge balconies overlooking the rice fields - the balconies... more

We stayed here based on reviews from this site but found it to be not suitable for a family with young children. The rooms were quite small and with a baby cot and extra bed there was not much room. Its a fair way out of town and each time we wanted to go anywhere we had to arrange transportation... more

I found out about Sri Sunari from Trip Advisor and. I read the first review and thought, "sure it's the only the first one. This place can't be as good as they say it is." Then I went ahead and read the other 20+ reviews and OH MY GOD!... Sri Surnari is wonderful. You are greeted by Nyoman and he... more
