I stayed 3 months at the Taman Agung and had an awful experience. You need to know that most of the hotel is made of appartments that had leased for 5 years to people who suublet it. Most of the people staying there are long term or at least one month residents and 90% of the clientele is made of... More

First two times in private apartment but not available for third visit so we booked direct with hotel, nice room looking onto lovely swimming pool, excellent staff cleaned every day, good breakfast, good location near Hardys shopping centre & good restaurants, good aircon & a nice bathroom with a bath plus shower attachment, no kettle but hot water free from... We stayed here for two weeks and found it a great place. When we first got here they were still renovating the reception area. They said they just finished renovations over the whole hotel. By the end of our stay, the new reception area was finished and open. We really enjoyed our room on the second floor over looking the... More

It must be good or we wouldn't be here, the hotel is in a good location only 100 meters from Hardys supermarket & not to far from our favorite restaraunts ( The Mona Lisa & The Rib ) the staff are very friendly & rooms cleaned with fresh bed sheets & towels every day. I don't know why it is... More

My wife & I booked a private apartment on the Internet not knowing which hotel it was located in. When we received confirmation of booking I looked on trip advisors reviews on Taman Agung & was abit apprehensive. The hotel is By far better than I expected, the grounds & swimming pool are well kept, the staff are very friendly... More

A group of us stayed here for 4 nights and had 2 normal (deluxe?) rooms and a family room. The family room was far better than the other rooms which were fairly basic, although comfortable and clean. Normal rooms had twin beds (as requested) a small fridge/minibar which we filled with our own drinks, air conditioning (no controller?), TV, single... More

Cant believe we survived 2 weeks here. stayed in one of the self contained villas, very tidy and clean rooms serviced daily. 90% of the residents were old Danish/Norwegian and a lot of them lease the villas on a yearly basis which is why they were so miserable and grumpy. complained about my two young kids making noise in the... Just like another reviewer here, we were brought here unwittingly by a taxi driver. It was New Year's Day though, and we were so glad to find a place that's still available at that time of day and in such a location that we took the room immediately. First impressions were great. The hotel is huge, the pool and gardens... More

We have been going to Taman Agung for quite a number of years we used to stay in the upstairs hotel rooms. The rooms are very basic but that was ok for us at the time as we were out and about most of the day exploring Bali - the balcony was nice providing a great view of the gardens... More
