We went back to Segara Village for our sixth year in succession. Why stay anywhere else, when Segara is the total essence of Bali, and the beautiful gardens and surroundings are balm for the soul. There was a fair bit of construction while we were there, but we were warned about it, and did not find it a problem. In... More

we had been highly recommended this place and its grounds and specially the Village 2 lived up to the expectations. Breakfast was lovely, too. BUT-- a very big BUT -- the techno music through the massive sound system which played on and off from 11 m to 11 pm almost ruined an idyllic stay. The staff were very friendly and... More

I particularly chose this hotel because I had read reviews which mentioned the amazing grounds and I was certainly not disappointed when we arrived as it is full of shrines and statues of Hindu gods everywhere, as well as lots of seating areas where you can relax and chill out. We stayed in Segara Village 2 because I had read... More

Firstly, I would to say that the grounds of the hotel are amazing with so much space and its design is very cultural with statues and palm tree's. I stayed in Segara Village 2 in which you get a pool to share with other Segara Village 2 guests. The pool is completely in the shade as there are huge palm... More

I did not stay at this hotel but attended for a family members wedding and still can not quite believe what I saw. We were seated for the reception on the decked area leading to the beach of what appeared to be a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. But as I sat and watched I was totally horrified!! Up from... We stayed 4 nights in this accommodation the first night in superior accommodation then moved into bungalow at a nearly twice the cost, would recommend the superior room as has been modernized, clean and large. The bungalow was quite small hard to get into bed as against window, no side tables bathroom small absolutely no where to place toiletries. The... More

My partner and I stayed at the Segarra for a week and it was heaven. The resort is beautifully set out amongst gardens and seems to go on forever. Its very large and even at full capacity didnt feel like it. Our bungalow was set behind ancient stone wall and entrance and had a good sized courtyard which lead into... More

The rooms and grounds are lovely, clean and the staff very helpful. The buffet breakfast is basic, apart from the feashly madr eggs , omlettes are recommended. The restarants are a bit expensive but good quality. I

Twelve months later we are back at this fantastic hotel. Last year we were impressed by the facilities, service, friendly staff and general cleanliness of the whole property. This year we have found that it has not only maintained those levels but some changes have been made to make the experience even better. Not much more I can say other... More
