The staff are very friendly and helpful and it was great to have direct access to the beach but we had constant problems with the toilet not working - although they were happy to send a plumber each time to fix it straight away. Internet also only worked in the reception area. The breakfasts are terrible so don't bother. There... More

Our second holiday at Laghawa as we enjoy the peace and quiet around the pool and the easy access to the beach. Some of the rooms close by the pool area are now in need of refurbishing - especially the bathrooms. There is often a problem trying to make the staff understand what you want for breakfast as their English... More

Seriously old but if get an online bargain of Aus$29 per night (or similar) its well worth it. Not worth th advertised prices though. Th beach access is security hazard after dark but xlnt location to beach & street bars, etc. Don't use hotel taxi as was hr late for my airport taxi!

Have stayed here before so decided to see if it was better than last time. It wasn't. Breakfast is poor quality and quantity. Serving area is filthy and staff surly which is not the same with hotel staff who are very friendly. Wifi is okay but only at reception. Had booked a deluxe room but asked to be downgraded to... Great location but in need of a renovation. Rooms are old and need painting. I didn't think they were good value. The restraunt was very average, but there are many more around to choose from. The beach is lovely with cafés and deck chairs. The pool was cloudy and didn't look clean, so we didn't use it.

Extremely good money for value in Sanur. We've been to Sanur a few times and have stayed in resorts nearby but we'd take this place any day over those. It's simple but modern enough to be able to get by (electronics, etc) yet still has a Balinese feel and authenticity that gives it a great charm. Right on a main... More

This hotel is right in the heart of Sanur, and the gardens stretch right back to the beach, where it has it's own sunbeds & beach bar for hotel guests. We couldn't use them since it was the rainy season but would love to have been able to lounge out there. The gardens are fabulous, very well kept, many typical... More

Hotel is very central with it's own access to the beach & it's own sunbeds there. The hotel grounds are extensive, and well maintained. Hotel is right on the main road full of shops, massage parlours, bars etc. Very safe to wander round at night too. The wifi was only available at reception. Furniture quite tired, needs upgrading. Breakfast quite... More

We stayed there for one night on our way to Nusa Penida. We had 2 Super Deluxe rooms. All the rooms are ground floor and exit into the garden. First the positive aspects: It was quiete, the staff was friendly and tried to please us, the garden is nice, the bathrooms are new. The disadvantages: For 43 € you get... More

My parents and I stayed at this hotel. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and well kept with a traditional Balinese feel, a beautiful pool and a beautiful garden that led out to a lovely secluded and peaceful beach. We hired a driver through the hotel called Maddy who was... More
