Besakih has one of the best pools in Bali. It may be smallish but what a view. The hours I have spent looking out to sea or watching people wander by is incalculable. Pity the swim up bar isn't open any more.

The hotel was situated in central Sanur and on the beach. We had been there a few years ago so went with the trepidation it would not live up to our memories. It did. Since our last visit the hotel was having a upgrade. The rooms/ detatched chalets were new and clean. The showers, air conditioning and facilities were first... More

Just returned from a week stay at Besakih and loved it. We traveled with four children under 12 and found that the location and environment offered by Besakih suited our family perfectly. Because of the location of pool right on the beach we could watch the kids to play while we enjoyed a massage or manicure. How good is that?... More

Just arrived home from a fantastic stay at Besakih! We had a standard room and yes initallty was a little taken back by the bathroom... but it's just very old but very clean. It seems the standard rooms in the block we stayed in are the last that need a revamp and are next for that. We looked in the... More

We have just arrived home from 10 nights at the Besakih Beach Resort, we travelled with friends and had 4 standard rooms all had recently been revamped, our airconditioner was not working on arrival and they had no more double rooms available so they let us sleep that night in a twin room and fix aircon the next day, had... We have just spent 11 nights at the Besakhi and will be definately coming back. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and we never experienced a bad meal there. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly as well as the house keepers. The pool is great and overlooks the beach. The hotel provides chairs out on the beach under... More

Our first trip to Bali and the Besakih was recommended. We spent 4 nights there. For the price it was excellent value. Beautiful gardens. Room made up each day. Some have commented on breakfast, we found it very adequate and the bringing of our own cereal unnecessary and not used. The rooms don't provide tea or coffee, so bring your... More

We recently spent 10 days in Sanur with our 2 girls aged 8 & 12. We originally booked into another hotel but moved to the Besakih on the 3rd day because of the fabulous outlook and location. It is a relatively small hotel with a lovely pool overlooking the ocean. There are plenty of big trees providing lots of shade... More

Service was good from all staff, but you may need to clarify with Bar Staff your drinks order. Room was a Standard Room and newly renovated, comfortable and no complaints. You walk out of the pool, across pathway onto the beach sand and we lazed on the banana lounges whilst being covered by big shade trees. Five metres in front... More
