We only stayed here for one night after our late afternoon arrival, but I would stay longer another time. We had booked an old style Balinese timber, carved cottage near Sanur Beach amidst beautiful gardens and felt very much at home. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the aircon worked and we finally worked out how to use the... More

During last month my sister in law stayed at the gazebo which we visited, the buffet breakfast was good at 75.000 that was good value. The hotel is a bit tired looking yet the air conditioning seemed to work well wifi was at the front reception area, being on the beach had the slight advantage

This is an old old hotel.Stayed in a Bungalow down the back near the beach. The ":traditional" Balinese Hut was old and all the appliances were old old .The Air con copped which made the room livable.Amenities such as the poor flushing toilet and lack of hot water were a concern. If you are looking for a budget place this is fine... We had lunch at the beach side cafe associated with this property and rather enjoyed the experience. The property is very old school traditional Bali but it is neat and tidy and the staff, who have worked there forever, are friendly and accommodating. The menu isn't outstanding but if you enjoy the local cuisine, then you will not be disappointed.... More

We stayed here 10 years ago in a basic room and thought it was ok for the price. Unfortunately the place has had absolutely nothing spent on it and now it extremely tired and old. It has a certain charm but the "family" room we stayed in was awful. Dark, low ceilings, aircon that didn't work, overall and throw back... More

This july we stayed again at Gazebo (room 278) and again we enjoyed the atmosphere of this family-hotel. The beautifull gardens and the friendly (albeit not too efficient) staff are the main reason to come back. Unfortunately the Wifi at the beach-side was out for all weeks. Only place to collect mail was at the reception. Breakfast is simple. This... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom family room for 1 week. The room was average but the gardens and their layout were beautiful. The 2 pools were also well provided with lounges and lovely gardens surrounding them. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was limited and with all the staff they had standing around I'm wondering why they... More

Enjoyed being able to eat breakfast while watching the sea. An old style Bali residence with a nice garden. I had a standard room that was clean, bathroom was old but clean. The room did smell mouldy but I just bought a can of room freshener and sprayed at regular intervals. TV did not work but I don't come on... More

Stayed there for 4 nights, the location (next to beach) is biggest reason. Also nice garden and pools, friendly staff, cosy beach terrace, ... Pretty laid back atmosphere. The room was pretty ok and clean enough, such a shame that in older hotels like this they always seem to forget about the bathroom... Bit shabby, wouldn't walk barefoot or even... More

We stayed 10 days and if I could have, would have stayed longer. Picked this hotel on purpose despite reading previous reviews. To us traditional hotel, not a new build that could be anywhere in the world and mid-budget range prices. Stayed in room 238. Very comfortable beds with soft clean sheets replaced every day. Wooden carved fittings and fixtures.... More
