This was our second visit to Sanur. On the first visit we stayed at another hotel, which was OK but the Hyatt looked nicer - and it definitely was. The gardens are spectacular, the pools are nice, staff are fantastic. We didn't think the food was particularly good (though not bad either), and in general in Sanur we found that... more

We stayed in this hotel as a 25th wedding anivassary celebration , The hotel was fablous and the grounds of the hotel were extensive and well kept the beach was spotlessely clean , Plenty of sun loungers both on the beach and around the two pool areas and in the gardens . The food in the hotel was plentyful and... more

We stayed for 12 nights at end of June and had a really great time in Bali. The day before we set off our travel booking company letter sent a letter about renovation work taking place and we thought oh oh. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, welcome drink no rush to fill in forms and pretty flower garlands... more

We stayed for 12 nights starting on 22nd June 09. Yes, the hotel is old and the three accommodation blocks are not very pretty, as they are constructed of concrete. However, they are making the effort to grow greenery over some of the concrete, which does help. The communal buildings - reception, restaurants etc are beautiful. The staff are wonderful... more

We stayed in Bali Hyatt last week (end of June 2009) for only three nights, because from 1st of July on it was fully booked. We had a wonderful stay at Bali Hyatt and we regretted it much to move over to another hotel. The welcome was super warm, with a refreshing drink and a Balinese flower necklace. At first... more

This was my third trip to Bali (Sanur) my last being eight years ago. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews of this hotel and sanur itself. I had no need to worry. The hotel is set in amazing gardens which lead onto the beach and to two swimming pools. One of the pools has a swim... more

We arrived late, really late, 2am, 4 young children in tow and are given a 4th floor room after requesting ground floor. Not a good start. Note to families, avoid the upper floors as the railings are dangerously low. We were moved the next day, and it felt like we were given the worst rooms in the hotel, simply for... more

We have just returned from our stay at the Bali Hyatt and could not fault it! We had a fantastic time. The hotel and its gardens are beautiful - worth a visit even if you are not stopping there. We went in June and there was plenty of space for lounging - either in the shaded gardens, round the pool... more

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at the Bali Hyatt and it was as pleasurable as the first and the gardens were as lovely as ever. I stayed for 10 nights with my wife and 3 young children of 10, 3 and 1. The kids really enjoyed the pools and the 10 year old particularly liked the table... more

We were v.pleased with the Hyatt and the staff, we originally had a room really far from swimming pool etc. so we requested to change and they gave us a pool view room right by lobby! The rooms are nice size, Hyatt provide free bottled water everyday, twice a day to your room, open you bed and put beautiful orchids... more
