My sister and I lived in one of the Bungalows down to the beach, so we had a great view over the ocean. It was especially nice to lie on the small terraces down to the beach and maybe enjoy the lunch or dinner, if you bring it yourself. The breakfast is okay and the staff are really friendly. You... Do not stay in Aditya Beach Resort, on Lovina Beach! The bungalows are terribly ugly, the bathroom is tiny and decaying, and the price is around $100US!? I was expecting a place at least of the quality of another Aditya hotel further west that I have stayed in, which was good/good enough if you are in the area. Naming hotels... More

On the plus side the staff are fantastic. The outdoor area and pool are good. But the rooms are dated, especially the bathrooms. Showers from the 50's. Hawkers patrol the boundary but security is good. Road noise, 5am public religious(islamic?) broadcast nearby and unreliable internet added to the the poor rating. Not worth the price to us.

The hotel has a sweet little pool and the whole area is beautiful. The staff is friendly and I was told that the massages - even if they are cheep - are great. Only the black sand strand wasn't as beautiful as wished and some "tourist hunters" are waiting to sell you everything you don't need ;)

As an older couple, we stayed here 4 nights, in a room (same as pictured above) that was right on the water, and simply enjoyed the quiet warm peace. We found the room beautiful and comfortable, atmosphere and gardens restful, the staff enjoyable and charming, the restaurant beautiful with a variety of good food (we find food at small warungs... I liked Aditya, impeccably presented and enjoyable despite some regular irritating noise. It's a shame I won't be able to stay in Aditya soon as it's so far away. Overall a highly balachanderous experience - 5 stars.

What I like: 1. Comfortable restaurant. There quite many dishes. One problem - there is no text about cocktails - just name. And, it's pity, no mocktails. I prefer it will me more desserts. 2. Staff is adequate, friendly, attentive (with one exception - see below) 3. Standard room is quite normal. TV, fridge, bathtub with really hot water anytime,... More

Before I left Australia I purchased a new motor bike in Bali a Honda Vario 125. (You don't need anything bigger). I decided to do something different this time and take a bike ride around Bali (415km). I planned 3 days 2 nights. ( I am over 60, so all you older travels try new adventures it is great fun... More
