Myself (18) and my partner (19) loved this place! After a long delayed fight we checked in at 2am with a very warm welcome from security and reception. The perfect start to our Bali trip. The pool bar drinks were delicious and cheap! Room service and restaurant were very fast! We only got a very basic room but for the... More

We stayed in the Matahari Inn which are room where locate in the most inside place. The room is really nice and clean. They do room service everyday. The location is good as it's on the noisy crowded street Jl Legian but is very quiet inside. It's really surprise us of the money we pay for Rp190,000 per night without... More

We booked into this hotel on Jalan Legian for three nights when we first arrived in Bali. The street is crowded and noisy but the hotel, was very quiet and a pleasant retreat from the chaos of Legian and Kuta. The rooms are set back in a tropical pathway on the way to the garden, restaurant and large landscaped pool.... More

This hotel can be hard to find, and is so much bigger, and more quiet than you would imagine for somewhere in the middle of Jalan Legian in Kuta. There is a nice pool area, and the gardens are very spacious. The room was average, and had poor lighting. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of information at... More

We booked this place as a quick chill-out after arriving in Jakarta and taking the train to Bali before moving on. We expected more noise as it is situated on Legian Rd but we were pleasantly surprised to find the night life is not disruptive and, in fact, hotel is mostly couples and families. The facilities are great for mid-range... More

Just coming to the end of a week's stay at Matahari bungalows. It's a welcome retreat from the hustle of jl legian. We stayed ground floor in the superior rooms with interconnecting rooms. Very secure card entry, great size room and facilities. Beautiful views of gardens and pool. Take the time to explore the gardens, tranquil pavilion with beanbags and... More

The location is great within easy walking distance of the beach and many other attractions. Not far from the airport (about 20 minutes is realistic). The property is barely visible from the street, but is actually quite large and spacious once you enter. In the early morning and evening the area can be quite picturesque with the light filtering through... More

Pros: Hotel is at fantastic location, staff is courteous and friendly, garden and pool view Cons: Bathroom is dirty, no wifi, aircon faulty, dim lighting - almost dark in the room even after switching on all the lights, limited breakfast, no toiletries, no charging point

The service attitude of staff is very welcoming, I so so enjoyed If you have checked-out room early, you may leave luggage there if you want to go out and u can bath... More
