Close to the action of Kuta withut being in the hustling center. Grounds are a picture of beauty . Rooms are decorated in beautiful Indonesian motifs. We always stay at the Melasti !

This hotel is along the beach strip in Kuta, alongside the crowded Aussie 'bogan' area! Its older style with ordinary rooms, but ideal for budget travellers. There are numerous shops and restaurants close by. The rooms are passable but nothing special. The pool is very ordinary. The staff are friendly and helpful. 3 stars.

We stayed at the Melasti for 12 nights and I was extremely disappointed by how outdated the rooms were. There was no water pressure in our hotel room and even after making staff aware nothing was done about this. We were quite disappointed with the breakfast however the location was very central.

The location is great; walking distance to the Discovery Shopping Mall, Waterbom Park, Kuta Square and Kuta beach.
