We stayed there for almost a week as we liked it that much. We had a small bungalow in a nice shady garden which was so great to spend time in when away from surfing and the beach. Also the owner was really helpful and kind! Can definitely recommend their accommodations, they have different places. We also stayed in the... More

I like the location as its in interesting walk past great shops and places to eat to the beach. Rooms were okay, you get what you pay for. Internet barely worked. Definately a young party crowd, not suitable for families. They charge 600,000 rupiah to go to the gili islands where every restaurant around charges only 500,000. The minus was... More

We had double room facing open air swimming pool area with comfortable sun loungers and parasols, robust chairs and tables for eating, and food and drinks service from adjacent bar. The room was clean (bed sheets/towels) and in good decorative order, with flush toilet, shower (hot), TV, fridge, and a/c. Decent breakfast (included), and tea/coffee making facilities. Coco is off... More

I've stayed at Warung Coco off and on for a total of 6 weeks. Value wise, you can't beat it. The room is nice enough, the pool area is great with plenty of nice beds for everybody. The pool area is a great place to meet other travelers. The room includes breakfast - definitely go for the banana pancake with... More

(This is a retrospective review. I stayed July 2014) For what little money we paid per night this was by far our favourite hostel during our trip (we stayed in 4 across Malaysia and Bali) Our room was massive, a nice change from the tiny spaces we'd been in previously. The bed linen was clean, as was the floor. The... More

Well originally I booked the room for my wife's father and sister who were visiting us from Java , however her father had never been to a hotel/hostel before and at 94 panicked !!! We therefore stayed here and let them stay at our house 2 doors away. Well we were in room 7 the 1st night when there was... More

There is nothing much I can review about this place. As it advertises just in budget and pretty basic. If you intend to use the room just to sleep and bathe, this one would suit you the best. The only thing I didn't like was a faint damp smell in the room.

very good place for it´s price, it´s cheap, the rooms are clean, they have a nice swimming pool and it´s a very good place for meeting people, close to the famous bars. the only problem is the bathroom, one room had a very good one, the other time we went there, the bathroom was too small, with flood problems and... I stayed two days at Warung Coco and its definitively not worthy the money. I got a room outside the hotel which smelled horrible. I talked to other guests in the hotel/hostel and quite a few had the same problem. The stuff was just not helpful and unfriendly, during these 2 days nobody tried to solve that problem. The breakfast... More

A typical revenge review as this person caused nothing but problems during the stay with us mainly due to the excessive use of mind altering substances which they were advised to stay away from. Also demanded to be put in the poolside room when the booking was for the garden view room but would not pay the upgrade rate hence... More
