After plenty of research we booked the hotel kumala Pantai. It is in THE BEST location right on the beach! Been to Bali heaps of time and the food in the Italian restaurant (part of the hotel) is one of the best...the fish and actual wood fired pizzas are delicious and the prices are soo cheap! Highly recommend this hotel-yes... More

We were recommended this hotel by many who have stayed. The location was excellent, close to double six street and the beachfront restaurants at legian. We have stayed in Bali many times and I would definitely stay here again. The buffet breakfast which is included in the price is plentiful and the eating area is nice under the trees . The... More

i didn't love this hotel but didn't hate it either. even though the restaurant is beachfront where we stayed didn't feel beachfront . felt quite claustrophobic and stuffy down the back around the small pool. beds as hard as rocks , I had to sleep on top of the quilt. for the price its good and I really cant complain.... Hotel staff are nice, nothing bad to say about them. I would not suggest this hotel for solo or young travelers. The guests were old Australian couples or couples with young children. The room was large, clean and had a balcony. For the price and a four star rating I found the facilities old and in need of refurbishment. The... More

There are SO many places to choose from in the area and I was going MAD trying to work out where to book. It was our anniversary so we wanted something on the beach with a nice pool but away from the main Kuta area and also a great breakfast and we got it in Kumula Pantai! The hotel goes... More

We recently spent 10 days here with 2 other couples. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor which involves quite a few steps but good exercise after all the lovely food bali has to offer. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Our friends complained that the mattress was too hard and air con quite noisy but we didnt mind a... More

Well suited for the over 50's Aussie couple wanting a break from our winter. We had the junior suite which was very spacious with a good bathroom. The restaurant is Italian and managed by an Italian guy. Pizza and pasta was good and reasonably priced. Often a complimentary Limoncello was given. The pool was a reasonable size and well maintained.... More

We stayed for 9 nights changed rooms due to first bed being lumpy and lop sided the next room bed was a bit better but was as hard as a rock, had to fold up quilt and put underneath sheet to add padding. We had also booked ground floor due to medical problem and we were given top floor room... More

Great hotel, old style but a great place to relax. Loved the junior suite. Couches were great to sit and read or have a early morning coffee. The wi-fi desperately needs upgrading. I travel a lot and have not experienced anything this terrible. I hope they do something about this. It's very difficult if you need to do any business... More

A superb location - adjacent to restaurants, close to shops and backs right onto the beach. Food is good, particularly the crab spaghetti - with some extra chopped chilli. Pool is large and gardens are plentiful, but quite a few mosquitos - which are sprayed every few days. Rooms a good size but starting to look a little dated. Would... More
