Used to be a great place but our room was really full of dust and dirt everywhere. The couches were smelling like old water and too dirty to sit on. The bed had dust everywhere of years no cleaning! They really need to change The furniture. Holes and stain in The sheets! Cleaning was ready in 5 min every day. Mostly... More

We stayed at Kumala Pantai at the end of July for one week. It is well located, not too close to the crazy central Kuta shopping/clubbing area, but a cheap cab ride away. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The aircon was cold and the showers better than home. The pools were nice but the gardens were lush and... More

Mixed review but I would stay again for the price and if I returned with the family. The daily buffet breakfasts were great, the pools were great although seating sometimes was difficult and they were heavily chlorinated. The rooms were dated but had most things needed. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, hubby and I woke with sore backs every... More

Loved staying at Kumala Pantai, it was the perfect place for our stay in the south of Bali. With 15 20-somethings traveling together, Kumala catered to our every whim. It was close enough to Kuta for the party-goers and shoppers to quickly travel down, but also far enough away for it to be quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was outstanding... More

If your looking for a beautiful relaxing holiday with your loved one then this is a great hotel :) we paid good price for our 5 night stay and only complaint would be is that breaky could be slightly better! All in all its a great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of kuta :)

Read the various reviews... Thought ok..lower expectations ... My fourth trip to Bali. It's an ever evolving place. New hotels bars.. Attractions ..pop up everywhere...but so far I would stay here again over a flash new place with no soul any day. Amazing gardens ...statues ...pools....location .food has been amazing.. More breakfast choice? Seriously people its breakfast ..there's only so... More

My feelings are mixed on this hotel. It’s very affordable for its location, the gardens are lovely and the sizes of the pools are great, but I think it’s just not a place for me. I had high expectations of the hotel with all the positive comments on the TA forum, but I didn’t find it a place I could... More

Very reasonable hotel, nice gardens and pool area and close to the beach. We spent 10 days here and the breakfast is very good. Rooms are comfortable. The Hotel needs to control the sun lounges around the pool as the Aussies have replaced the Germans for hogging sun lounges. Towels should be removed by hotel staff every 30 minutes to... More

I spent a week here with my family and other friends and had a ball. Location is very good in Legian near the bottom of Seminyak. It is a traditional style Balinese hotel with beautiful gardens. Do not expect uber luxury as it has none of the usual 5 star treatments. The two swimming pools are great (especially the one... More
