The photos on the internet look fantastic and, in fact, the pool and breakfast area setting is quite lovely. But your first clue that all is not as it looks on the site is when the taxi turns down a narrow dark lane to get to the hotel. Oh, oh! The rooms are small and the "standard" room has no... More

Just back from bali trip. Location wise is good - which is very near the beach, But the hotel is supper horrible with so many mosquitos and you can't sleep peacefully every night. On last night of stay,we killed three cockroaches in the bathroom. I don't recommend this hotel - this is one of the worst hotel i ever stayed... More

I could smell the fragrance of kamboja/frangipani every morning I wake up. the room was tidy and cozy. It comes with affordable price. the bad things was in service especially breakfast. They... Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Is very nice and clean. Close to the beach and has a lovely pool. Has everything you need in the room - fridge, aircon, hot water, TV etc... Breakfast is included in the price and is nice enough. The only bad thing is we were on the ground floor and there is HEAPS... More

Got 2 rooms at this hotel for 4 nights from 2 to 6 Feb 2011 for me and my family. This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in Bali. Toilet is very dirty and probably dimly lit so that the dirt and mould would not be too obvious. Water from the tap is smelly, slimy and seems highly... More

This hotel really need to improve their rooms. The bathroom looks very old and dirty. The bedsheet was dirty and smelly. I was bitten by mosquitos all nite when i stayed there. Those are the reasons i moved to another hotel during my stay in bali. The room rate was unreasonable. I could get better and cleaner room in kuta... More

I went to the Fourteen roses hotel for holidays with my family. We were welcomed with a juice, and the swimming pool looked pretty nice. My first impression was thus good. I had to share my bedroom with my brother. We had to take the stairs as there weren't any elevator, and we were at the third floor! But here... More

What an experience! Entrance to the hotel filled up with cars, bumper to bumper. Impossible to get in with luggage. When finally managing to pass after having climbed over some cars, the comments of the receptionist was "you could just tell my friend here, then he would have helped you". Drain in battub clogged. Comments from receptionist "if we shall... More

My husband and I found this hotel on a whim after walking for 2 kilometers along the main road beside the beach from Kuta to Legian. We desperately wanted a hotel that cost under the normal beachfront rate of $100 and up. We also wanted some tranquility and to avoid having to walk past several agressive stall sellers to get...
