We stayed at the Gecko suite, which is very spacious and has a fantastic view. The shower looking at the sunset is incredible. We had a private dinner in the balcony overlooking the sea; the setup was very romantic but the food was a bit disappointing. Breakfast is great though. The pool is wonderful to and end-of-day relaxing treat. The... More

3 nights here was the perfect amount of time without a scooter - it's very quiet and tucked away. We loved the uniqueness of the property. Dinner is communal at a set time and you all sit together - we had a lovely group and the food was excellent. The monkeys are an experience! The only big downside (this bit... More

Such beauty!! It really doesn't look like much when you drive up, its on a small backstreet. But once you enter the property, it is immediately spectacular. Painted in bright colors within intricate design, the property extends back until you open up to this ridiculously incredible view of the Indian Ocean. The Lodge sits right on the cliffs for some... Upon arrival, we thought we had arrived in paradise: the location is spectacular and the accommodation is quirky and stunning. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest which is nestled into the cliff and has the most amazing views, especially from the outdoor shower and loo! We knew when we booked that there were monkeys in the area and that we... More

Unique boutique hotel in a wonderful spot. Lovely food and views, rooms are airy and spacious - Pataya Suite not aircon but didn't need to be. Pool nice - only real downside is the shower which was temperamental at best. You'll get fit going up and down to the beach.

If you want to feel at home away from home and yet surf one of the best waves of the world ( impossibles) you have to stay here. The hotel setup is perfect, 10 rooms all different styles, very Balinese. On the edge of the cliff with a spectacular view of the ocean the pool and the dining area, tucked... More

This place has such potential. The food is light and healthy, the location is great and the rooms are different/rustic. However our 2nd time staying here left us unsatisfied. The staff lacked enthusiasm and everything requested seemed too hard & delivered with attitude. a minor thing such as a smoothie order by the pool, or 'can I please have some... More

Very cosy, small and relaxed place with superb and helpful owners. Healthy food & smoothies available and very nice dinner in the evenings: all guests sitting around the big table so you can talk to each other. Of course if you want privacy it is also possible. There is a yoga lessons every morning and you don't have to be... More

The Temple Lodge is undeniably beautiful. The setting on the cliffs, the quirky attention to detail in the suite architecture and design, the pools (in the common area and the Temple Suite - we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the privacy and solitude of the Temple Suite!), and the yoga classes were all fantastic. No complaints about the food, either - we... More
