It took us a while before we decided to write a review. And we decided to write it because the other reviews are not realistic in our opinion. The surfer cave is a home stay with two rooms far away from the main streets with ongoing construction activities on the premises. As it is a family business you depend on... More

Surfer cave accommodation is a very familiar place. Diana, John, Charity and Michael helps you in everything. They drive you to places you wouldn't go, give surf lessons or show you the best shopping places..I enjoyed the time at their place..Thanks for everything!

Surfers cave was by far the best accommodation that I found whilst in Bali. John Diana Charity and Michael are some of the kindest and friendliest people I have ever met, they introduced me to things that I simply would not have discovered if I was a tourist in a hotel. The peninsular at the bottom of Bali hosts some... More

I spent several nights there. John, Diana and their children welcome you in Bali as a part of the family. The home stay is located in the back country, but very close to the main roads and locations of Bukit Peninsula. From there, you can very easily go to Jimbaran, Balangan, Uluwatu and Kuta. Very nice rooms and the home... More

John, Diana, Michael and Charity are wonderful hosts, right from the onset they make you feel like family. If you want to get to know Bali from a local's perspective the Surfer's Cave is definitely the place you should go to. John and the family drive you everywhere, you get to learn a lot about Indonesian Culture, but if you... More

I stayed here with three other friends. We had a lovely stay here and enjoyed visiting the local beaches. It is a little bit out of the way but luckily John, the owner, took us to some lovely places. Would recommend this place.

Diana, John, Michael and Charity are very lovely people. I ended up not learning to surf as it was too big with the full moon but I happily spent some time at the local beaches. Diana's and Charity's food was very nice and I felt like I was at home. John is passionate about showing you Bali but I wanted... More

Firstly, I cannot fault John and Diana. They are running a fantastic home-stay business, excellently valued accommodation in traditional surroundings. Unfortunately, for a city girl like me, it was a bit too authentic! My bathroom was outside, which I thought wonderful at first, but at 3am being too terrified to go for a pee for fear of what would land... More

I've stayed to surfer cave accomodation 2 years ago, it's a very nice place, with all the family John, Diana, Charity and Michael, the best hosters. Diana cook for you, one of the best typical meal from Bali, and John show you the good place to visit. The accomodation are really confortable. It's why in 2 weeks, I'll go back... More

Surf, good people, great food, a place to relax and have fun. Most people who visit Bali tend to stay in Kuta, but they fail to discover the true essence of this place. The surfcave is located a few minutes away from the beaches of the south, in a place away from the streets and the sound of cars.
