This resort has a lovely old-school feel to it, but is still totally luxurious -- we actually liked going somewhere that wasn't all minimalist and sleek lines in Asia for a change. The outlook is fabulous, the gardens throughout gorgeous, the staff lovely. more

I just returned from a 10-day visit in Bali. I stayed in various places including Sanur, Lembongan Island, Jimbaran, and Ubud. Ayana resort is, without a doubt, one of the most pristine, immaculate, and magnificent resorts I have ever been to. The customer service was immpeccable and they look after your every need. I ended up at Ayana after having... more

From arrival at the airport the staff at Ayana looked after us very well. Villa guests get a dediated check in desk designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by water filled with Lilly pads and at night accompanied by the sound of frogs it provides the right impression after almost 20 hours travelling. The villa was lovely although it... more

I loved the resort, service was exceptional, infinity pool is unbelievable (both the main one and the one by the cliff), food was not amazing but satisfactory, dinner at Thai resto was good but expensive which was expected. Luckily it wasn't crowded when we visited so we always had great poolside service, staff continuously changing towels and even provide fruits... more

My husband and I recently visited AYANA and stayed in a Club suite. We actually only booked a Club room but got a complementary upgrade to a suite, which was a lovely surprise! The room was really spacious with a separate living area and a balcony looking out to sea, but the best part was the free access to the... more

We stayed a couple of nights to see how things are going after the change from RC. Overall we were disappointed. The spa is not a good as it was, and the foodservice needs improvement. We read all the reviews and we can't understand how there could be so many positive reviews from 1st time review writers. Anyway, best to... more

The newly rebranded Ayana seems to have a good thing going, beautifully manicured grounds and lovely rooms. The employees were very kind and even remembered our names every morning at breakfast. However, a few points need addressing: 1. A note in the room mentioning of the new WiFi internet beginning on May 1st did not begin when we arrived on... more

My family and I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bali two years ago. For this Easter, we thought it would be a great idea to check out the rebranded Ayana Resort and Spa. To our pleasant surprise, we felt as though we were staying at a brand new Balinese hotel for the first time! The hotel staff were forever smiling,... more

This used to be the Ritz-Carlton Bali but has now changed its name. We loved going there before, and so we decided to remain loyal and we were so glad we did - it is as good as ever! My fiancé and I spent the whole time just chilling out, getting totally pampered at the spa (you MUST go to... more
