Ideally located between Denpasar and Ubud, this hotel is a quite and lovely place. As usual in Bali, you are welcomed like King and Queen! I advice you to book some of the rooms with a little private pool. The rooms are comfortable, well equiped and nicely decorated The main pool is beautiful, facing a paddy field.

From the first moment walking in here we were stunned.Staff went all out to welcome us. It is very quiet and private. Great views from restaurant. We will be coming back next trip.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. First impression of the hotel, beautiful, well maintain and peaceful. We were marvelled by the surrounding and the pool. But then I noticed the bathroom is dark and gloomy, the tub was old, mouldy and rusty. Asked for an infant crib for my 4 months old daughter, they brought one but couldn't... More

Stayed here for a night. Although it was a bit of a distance from Ubud Central, there is a free shuttle to and fro from the hotel to send u to Ubud Central at specific time (check with the front desk). Booked the private villa with pool. Surrounded by mother nature. Good stay. Will definitely come back here again to... More

I stayed here in September with my friend when were travelling and wanted a bit of luxury before we slummed it in hostels. I can not fault this hotel at all, not even in the slightest, we paid something like £20 a night and it was one of the most amazing places i stayed in whilst travelling. On arrival the... More

Stayed with my partner for 18 days. Great place to get away from the hussle and bussle. They have daily shuttle that took the 30 mind drive into Ubud or you can organise an inexpensive taxi for other places. We used Matea who live next door who charged $45 for a 5 to 6 he round trip. He was also... More

First glances - Alam Puri is amazing as this seems to be the case for many Bali restaurants/retail/hotels. Scenic view, modern Bali hut style room, pool villas, wildlife. The pool is spectacular for the price they charge. The grounds are lush and green. The reception and grounds staff are friendly. A library and galley. I embraced things like I could... More

First off, each person(s) must decide what kind of experience they want to get from Bali. Alum Puri staff was very friendly, trustworthy, and even upgraded my room to the honeymoon suite since it was, in fact, my honeymoon. As mentioned in other reviews for this hotel, it is well worth the price and try your best to get the... More
