Shaheen Bagh is a lovely resort, well connected from Rajpur road yet secluded. The USP of the place is the personal presence and hospitality of the owners - Sandhya and Arun. It's classy with an old world charm. Ideal place to relax, with nothing yet lots to do- a massive library of books and movies. The well manicured lawns in... More

If you are looking at just relaxing in the midst of nature and enjoying time with yourself, friends, family members, then I strongly recommend this place. Dont expect much to do - there is a big library with DVDs and books that you can browse through...alternatively, you can carry your own entertainment (tablet, book, cards...whatever works for you). This is... More

Our stay at Shaheen Bagh was selected after reading a lot of good reviews on TripAdvisor. Exactly as we had expected...this property is a hidden gem in the middle of forests around 25 km from Dehradun. First the property... vintage, luxurious, comfortable. The verandahs offer breathtaking views of the distant hills amidst pristine clouds. In the night, fireflies gave us... More

After driving for 5 hrs from Delhi on a relatively good highway suddenly you are on a "not a so called pakka road" but 'Kachhi Sadak'. The very first thought will wander the status of the cottage and move with an uncertainty of a place which is your two day holiday home . But when you reach the spot and... More

Stayed for 4 days here & would love to come back. Arun & his wife have taken great care for making this property a wonderful location. Attention to the smallest details & theme rooms make it unique. Also the river Tons nearby is a great spot for bird watching / photography & meditation. Food was nice & one felt like... More

Shaheen Bagh is a lovely house with a beautiful garden in a quiet and remote place. We were the lone guests during our stay and we felt that the big house was for us only. The staff was helpful to guide us during the walks and cooked excellent food. They even took care of our child when we needed a... More

Well maintained and tastefully done up house with a personal touch. The house has four vintage themed spacious rooms with all amenities sorted. A huge library of over 2000Dvds and around the same number of books. This is a perfect getaway for a long weekend. Direct connectivity from Mumbai to Dehradun is a big plus. Then about an hour and...
