We had to have lunch in the hotel when we arrived and found it lukewarm and expensive. The restaurant staff were unhelpful and verging on rude. My bathroom was dirty and although they wiped the basin when I asked for it to be cleaned, the toilet remained disgusting. I do not think the staff had ever been shown how to... More

The room no 305 was ok.exhaust fan of bathroom was not working.so the room was smelling. the morning breakfast was very ordinary with all food- stuff cold and offered not much of variety. the staff needs... Stayed here (booked by tour operator) and found room to be dirty, and badly maintained. Beds smelled musty, towels were grey and threadbare and had no hot water in sink. Restaurant staff poorly trained and supervised - tried to avoid giving you service. Buffet food was invariably cold, and meat dishes contained mostly bones. Reception also tried to charge us... More

I cannot believe that there are any good reviews for this hotel. It is quite the worst I have ever stayed in. The room needs totally refurbishing, the sheets, towels and pillows were quite disgusting - grey and threadbare. Upon complaining, we were allowed to have one clean, white, fluffy towel between us. The staff in the restaurant are completely... More

Spacious rooms - our twin had two double beds rather than two singles for a change but otherwise unimpressive. Boring decor, boring food and too far out of town. And the very creepy guy on staff loitering in the shadows around the pool and watching the female guests from behind a pillar - disappearing only when other (male) guests or... More

I spent 2 nights here as part of my group tour of Northern India and Nepal. We checked into the hotel at around midday following an overnight sleeper train ride from Agra. I was delighted when we checked into this hotel as it is a lovely quiet get away in Varanasi but not far from the city centre, ghats or... More

I am a girl of simple requirements when I choose hotels for my stay. When I stayed in this hotel, I did not feel like checking out because this hotel epitomizes simplicity and elegance with great service. The only downside to the beautiful experience is expensive food, which is a mild spoiler in the fun. Rest everything is in place.... More
