This hotel is Right on the bank of ganga on manmandir ghat. The view of the ganga is one of the best in varanasi. Tried Indian vegetarian food. It was also well prepared. Very tasty. Overall suggested for Indian and non Indian visitors. only negative point is the room size. All happening locations are in near vicinity. Worth staying.

Excellent situation near the main ghats. Nice rooms. Small but clean. Staff very friendly. Good restaurant with an amazing rooftop. Prices a little big high compared to the others guesthouses of Varanasi. But it is a choice you will not regrets.

The selling feature of the Rashmi Guest House is certainly the view of the Ganges. From our bed we could see the Ghats and all the action on the river (and the monkeys on the rooftops and in the tree). The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpfully were able to change larger bills for us. The... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It definitely is in the best location for your stay. It is also very good value for money. The rooms are small but clean. And you can hear the prayers/singing from your room. The breakfast here is good. The Western dinner not so much. But if you stick to Indian dishes you will be... More

A Palace on the River, Rashmi Guest House has a very accomodating front desk staff which has allowed me to change my dates of stay 2 times. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is the very best being right on the river bank closest to the ghat where the nightly Arti is celebrated. The... More

Hotels are about location, location, location, right? The Rashmi Guest House is bang by the most fascinting ghats (Man Mandir and Dashashwamedh, where they burn the dead). Step our the door, and you are exactly where you want to be. Stunning. The ghats are full of history and intrigue, and the mazy back-streets of Varanasi are narrow and frantic. Yet... More

Excellent place to stay over in Varanasi. It is situated very close to the main ghat. It is very central to all the action, and close distance to the Lakshmi Chai Walah (best chai in Varanasi, and malai and makan toast), as well as The Blue Lassi Shop (by far the best lassi in the entire India). The staff was... More

A beautiful location, this is the value of this hotel. Little basic, not very 'fancy', but just on the most popular ghat of the city.clean and helpful staff. If you want to go out by yourself at dawn this is the place. the breakfast terrace has a beautiful view of the river.

The hotel is located bang opposite to the ganges. Very close to Dasashwamedh ghat. The hotel is very nicely maintained and the overall hotel is very clean. The hotel staff is also very friendly and cooperative. The flipside - you cannot reach to the hotel on vehicle. You will have to get down near gadoliya and walk. Though you can... More

Overall, this guest house has an excellent location. Our room was very small, but kept well clean. The rooftop restaurant has an excellent view of the Ganges and the ghats, but one can't help feel overwhelmed with the multiple wandering cockroaches in the dining room.
