Whenever I visit Varanassi, I usually stay closer to the burning ghat. This is a top rated hotel for the very popular Assi Gatt. Assi ghat is very popular with artists and especially rated musicians. It is also popular for those wishing to learn other arts such as fire dancing. This is well worth a bit of a spurge. [-] more

My brother has been living in India for over the past 35 years and he is very friendly with the owners. The small guest house is located directly on the last ghat with views of the Ganges.
