A decent guest house, but in quite a filthy neighborhood. The room was slightly shaggy, but its a very short walk from the Ganges, and what makes the difference is the owners. They are very honest, genuine and helpful. Never hesitate to ask them anything! The WiFi is ok as well. Recommended if you are a budget traveler just staying... More

The atmosphere is homey and warm, the owner Dinesh is nice and helpful. He explained me about the city and arranged for me a visit in a Sari factory, which was a great opportunity as a photographer. I had a small room - all rooms are very clean, I should say - and an awesome balcony overlooking all the city.... More

The good: 1. The room had big windows and was well lit. 2. It was a better value than most places in town (I looked at 6 guesthouses in Varanasi. 3. The owner has a personality that makes you want to like him. The bad: 1. There was chewing gum stuck to the floor, trash left behind on the bathroom... More

The guys who run this place are lovely and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The location is in between the main shopping area and assi ghat, so there isn't many convenient places close by other than a German bakery called bread of life - which is excellent.very basic accommodation, at 600 rupees a night... I was just for a short time in Varanasi and I found this more or less in the centre situated guet house, which was perfect for me. You will have a good price and a good room. There is also a wonderful rooftop where I took a sunbath. There is also the possibility to watch others people life or the... More

The rooms are big, basic and clean. The communal area is homely and we always felt welcome to join the family. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. They willingly gave us information without pushing us to buy from them. Good times!

One can't really expect many luxuries in hilly religious places, specially if it is as crowded as the Vaishno Devi shrine. But still, my stay here was a decent experience. Hotel lobby area not much of a display sight, rooms were small but visibly clean. Blankets were provided to fight the chilly cold outside. Room prices were also not bad... More

We stayed several days in this guesthouse and we liked it very much. The rooms are simple but clean and very well priced. Our room had a big comfortable bed, a table, a bathroom with hot water available and even a small balcony. The staff is great. The atmosphere is very familiar, everybody is nice and they helped us with... More
