This is a very special place with even more special people! Accessible only by boat or by jaunting down a couple of km of incredible cow-wide ancient alleyways flanked by heritage sites such as pure gold Hindu temples, some might be put off - but they would miss the best Varanasi experience ever!! The real Varanasi! Located 300m from the... More

We've been living and traveling in India for over a year, and this was one of our most pleasant stays. We had the feeling that the staff genuinely want to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but they were not constantly hanging over you like they do in some hotels - but they are always there when you need... What a way to arrive at your hotel, by boat. It is a fascinating place to visit perched on the banks of the Ganges. The servcie was terrific, food was great and the staff were wonderfull. the easy access to the alleys and bazaars of Varanasi and the Ganges river tours were a great advantage

A late review! We stayed here in March, 2014. Getting there - we arrived by car from Lucknow, was mildly difficult. However - once our driver found the appropriate boat landing, and made the necessary phone calls - everything was smooth as butter - is a little slow! We were transferred to the hotel by boat. Check-in was smooth. The... More

Our experiences in India with our Hotels had been fantastic till we arrived here. It was the only hotel with no female staff that we had experienced. We were mother and daughter travelling together and at no point did we feel uncomfortable doing so until we arrived at this Hotel. On two occasions someone tried to enter our room. The... More

I visited the hotel in to try their restaurant and look at the heritage property as well. The hotel is beautifully maintained , right on the ghat. the restaurant has a small menu with Indian and Continental selection. The quality of the food is really good! The service is also good. The hotel arranged for a pick and drop up... More

I have stayed in this hotel in April'14 and found it amazing especially the staff and the hotel manager. The rooms and the food is excellent. In the holy city the perfect gateway to serenity. Highly recommendable.

This is a fabulous hotel and we loved being picked up by boat and taken up river to their hotel. Reception was low key, in keeping with the style of the hotel itself and we were given a delightful room overlooking the Ganges. The room was comfortable and quiet and we could have cheerfully stayed here for a few more... More

We were escorted to the waters edge and then boarded a small boat arranged and paid for by the hotel for the short jouney to the hotel which can only be reached by boat. The Jukaso Ganges is on the river, up a number of sets of stairs from the river bank (see picture), to be out of reach of... More

We spent three nights here and really found the hotel staff to be exceptionally friendly and well-trained, full of smiles and happy to help guests. The hotel is a small boutique hotel, right on the bank of the Ganges. There is a large ghat (steps) leading up to the hotel. We arrived in Varanasi and they sent the boatman, Binodh,... More
