If you go to this place with great expectations you'll be disappointed of course. But we weren't expecting too much (this being a government property) and were very pleasantly surprised in consequence. The AC deluxe rooms were spacious, clean and extremely reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast was limited in choice but the food was tasty and well cooked. Yet the... More

Location is good, but obviously not the best. Thought a govt property might be lavish like others but we were for sweet winter surprise with torn floor carpets and greasy bed sheets. Even the geyser was not properly working during our February 2013 visit. Thank god, the room heaters was working! Not a fabulous place as an eating destination also... More

This is the most ridiculously overpriced hotel I stayed in India and I have been travelling for 3 months. We had a spacious but dingy room with itchy twin beds and a grubby bathroom. You get a fan and an air cooler, neither of which work particularly well. The staff are totally unfriendly and unhelpful. We ordered tea and once... More

First the positives - The location is excellent, its not too far from the Charbagh rail station and within 3-4 minutes walking distance from the Sahara Mall. Though there are a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance, not much noise comes into the rooms and the sleep is quite peaceful. Also, the waiters and room service guys are... More

Hote Gomti is situated very close to the main market area of Hazratganj but it is poorly maintained. Positives: 1. Situated close to charbagh railway station and hazratganj area. 2. The reception are and lobby is well-maintained. 3. Food is decent enough variety in veg and non-veg. 4. Staff is courteous and prompt in service. 5. Safe for single female... More

Firstly this review is for the stay not for the food. I am more disappointed than angry with this place. By virtue of its location this place can be developed into an excellent hotel. But besides its location there is nothing good about the hotel. Maintenance is nil. Bathrooms given to us were dirty and we have to call the... More

This hotel was the worst hotel in my two month of travelling in India. It was dirty, I changed the room three times until I had a working shower, the floor was dirty, the furniture was dirty, the toilet was dirty, all in all the Hotel looks more like a prison than like a Hotel. When I went to bad... More

This hotel is located at a prime location (Hazratganj) in Lucknow close to Sahara Ganj mall. One can see from the building material and trappings of the hotel that it must have been quite a good hotel when it was opened up. However, since it is run by the hapless Government of India, things were quick to fall apart. The... More
