This is not a Hotel but Home stay. I personally did not like it much. We had booked the room on the first floor facing the street. We checked in in the month of June last year around 12 noon and had to leave the place in one hour because of power cut. The AC does not work after power... More

Very dirty room and dirty sheets. Shower wasn't working half of the time. Airconditioning was okay, but was very noisy. I absolutely loved visiting the Taj Mahal and the baby Taj, but apart from that there's nothing to do in Agra. To be honest, it's a bit of a dump. I would recommend a day trip to see all the... Pros: The guest is in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. We checked in in the morning, and they didn't charge us for an extra bed. The room itself was relatively clean, AC worked. If you want to have a drink they'll get it for you in a shop - for extra charge, of course. Cons: Our room was in front... More

Few reasons why you and your forthcoming generations should avoid Sonar Haveli.. 1. A generator that doesn't work during power cuts.. (And the power cut lasted from 12 am to 5 am) 2. Mark, a mannerless, irresponsible and inhospitable host.. Actually I'm short of words that can describe his callousness, carelessness and hopelessness.. 3. An AC room (which is a... More

I love this place so much , I have traveled many cities in India and have stayed at many homestays but what i like best about this place is that you are completely free and un-disturbed unlike other places where people like to sell you stuff and like to know your person life .. the place is traditional and in... This Hostel is a very nice Option for staying in Agra. The Location is quiet and n walking distance to the Taj Mahall. We got a room with Fan, Aircondition, Couch and very big bathroom. The stuff is very friendly and they also have a cheap drivingservice. Cahapati is a excelent driver and will show you around the city! The... More

Even though I arrived in Agra around 6AM, they quickly got me into a very nice room with a kingsize bed, a couch, fan and a bathroom with a shower. The atmosphere of the place is really cool and all the staff are very nice. They arranged all my needs, and the driver service was excellent (and cheap!). Make sure... More

We had a great stay here. Mark and team were incredibly warm and welcoming. They helped us arrange transport from the train station, and we felt that the hotel was a great refuge from the hustle and bustle of Agra. We highly recommend eating here as well -- the homemade food was simple, delicious, and reasonably priced, and it was... More
