We were there 2 nights, it was too much. First of all the rooms look different then in internet, it is a standard in India. We came in the night and we get the dirty rooms with horrible bathrooms with open electric wires standing out of the walls. Rooms were small with view for dirty back of the hotel. Dont... More

There is free wifi if your lucky the modem is connected. Front desk staff other than one person ignored you and we're not helpful. We always had to ask to turn hot water on or get toilet paper & dry towels. Our room was so cold that we could not sit in it unless we were in bed. The restaurant... More

Don't waste your time here. We spent one night at the Taj Residency when our train was delayed and a taxi driver brought us here. We booked in based on the attractive lobby and seemingly decent rooms. This was all superficial. The manager was rude, but not enough for us to change our mind about checking in. We soon realised... I have been here for couples of times. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, often luxury ones with impeccable details and fantastic designs. Service is excellent,it is the perceptive and friendly service that makes it worthwhile staying. The owners and staff are social at just the right level and they go to great length to make you... This is part of a scam, from Delhi (India) a "supposed government tour agency" kidnapped us and pressure us to book a night in this hotel; everything was dirty, all night there were electricity shortcuts, the sheet were stain. They refused to give us access to the WiFi the first time that we ask then when we saw other people... More

We had a horrible experience with the Taj Residency. The bed sheets and the towels were torn, dirty and musty. We complained and after waiting for a long time they replaced them... Breakfast was poor and wi fi internet never worked. Location was little bit difficult to find it.

This is not the hotel for an extended stay. It is ideally situated for a sunrise or sunset visit to the Taj Mahal but it is bland and has seen a lot of traffic. Rooms are basic, clean but nothing more. Cafe type restaurant and an Indian restaurant, they are ok. Pool looked nice but not the place for a... More

Our experience with the Taj Residency was horrible. We were put up in a small dank room; we asked to be moved to another; we were told that all the other rooms were booked. The bed sheets were torn; stained; dirty and the blankets also dirty and musty: We complained and after waiting over an hour they replaced the sheets... More

The rooms smelled like sewage as does most of the country. The rooms are very small and we had no view. We asked to change to a higher floor but the representative refused. While in the lobby I noticed the rep trying to put people in a room and the people continued to refuse it. Probably because of the smell.... More
