The hotel is situated quite close to the Taj. We could get to the monument well in time for sunrise and click some amazing pictures. The hotel itself is pretty nice and well kept. The rooms looked nicer than what it looked in the photos. The staff were courteous too. There are quite a few restaurants around the place.

This is a great value hotel that is in a perfect location. It isn't quite where it is shown on maps (like lots of other places in Agra) so best to take advantage of their station pick up service. We did and it worked well although be prepared for the driver to persuade you to pay over the odds go... More

We were able to walk to the Taj, it was so close. Our room was nice and a nice rooftop was available to us in our complex and at the hotel restaurant across the street. The restaurant food was good too. Of course the hotel was happy to set us up with a cab if needed. If you want to... More

Really pleasant surprise for the price and location (15 minute walk to the Taj and perfect for a sunrise visit). Was set a little way off the main road along a short dirt path but this was enough to shield you from the traffic noise. Really nice comfortable bright room, good bathroom with hot water on demand and tea making... More

The staff were very friendly. The AC worked great and the room was clean. This is the perfect place for Backpackers on a budget. I would stay there again. It is extremely close to the Taj Mahal. The day we checked out, the hotel employee let us leave our luggage in our room while we visited the Taj Mahal and... More

We stayed over for one night just to see the Taj Mahal and this hotel was perfect. For the price, the room was excellent. We stayed in a suite and for the price, it was amazing. We had a great night sleep and plenty of space. The thing that let the room down was the bathroom but this was no... More

We had an overnight family engagement and wanted to stay near Taj. We booked Ray of Maya after reviewing feedback which all the hotels had got on online portals. We found Ray of Maya to be value for money hotel. Its a very small bed hotel with 8 rooms. The staff is very courteous. We had stayed in a standard... More

Stayed in a deluxe room. It was dated and the bathroom had a mouldy smell. No safe to put your stuff in while out and about. Breakfast not included, can be bought at the hotel across the street which is in the same chain. Highlight of the stay was the location. It is located only a few minutes walk from... More

The hotel is very close to the best attractions of Agra, which is a big +. Good stay for couples! The stuff is very kind and helpful. We met the owner of hotel, and can assure, that he is honest and reliable person. Ray of Maya is far better then other Indian standards we experienced before. The standard room is... More

The room was comfortable, relatively clean and quiet. The hotel was a bit hard to find (there is another Maya hotel right across the street and our driver dropped us off there but they called the Ray of Maya and sent a boy over to bring our luggage and show us the way through the small alley). My biggest complaint... More
