Agra Mahal's location can be termed as excellent from transportation point of view especially if you are traveling from out of state bus service. We traveled from Jaipur and the bus's last stop is literally opposite the hotel, just across the road. But it's not near Taj Mahal, so you need to take an auto rickshaw or cab to reach... More

This hotel has recently been a part of a scandal around a British woman who was woken at 3am and asked if she would like a 'shower and massage' which in india means attempting sexual relations. she had to jump from the balcony to escape the man. I previously stayed at this hotel and while the staff were lovely to... More

Skip this place as long it's not the only place to stay in Agra. Rooms were dirty, sheets stained. Had to ask for a replacement, which immediately followed with basically the same type of dirty/old lining. I had a rat guest in the top floor room, right next to the kitchen. Probably not the best choice for a breakfast of... More

Terrible service with unfriendly and rude reception staff. Staff were extremely loud in foyer area which several rooms face onto and made no attempt to lower their voices when asked on two separate occasions. Staff replied that all would be quiet 'in an hour'. However it was already 11pm. After finally getting to sleep we had an unwanted 4.30am wake... More

dirty sheets, dirty pillow, internet doesnt work, also they wont let you bring in outside food and drink, but they want 250 rupees for a Kingfisher, so you have to smuggle your beer into your room. Overall its a pretty standard hit or miss indian hotel, but the reception people have a bad attitude. Surely there is someplace better for... More

We spent 4 days in Agra Mahal. Besides couple 120$ a night hotels, this one had the most helpful staff we've seen on our trip. The owner himself is around quite often, and he maked sure we had everything we need. We were in Agra on 3 coldest days they've had in years, and we changed our room three times... More

1) People is not nice... and this is India!!! -EXCEPT for the person of the restaurant, from Nepal, who is extremely considerate- 2) Maybe I had bad luck but NOT hot water in two days and a half... 3) There's biiig insects/animals in the room... Really disappointing overall.

This hotel felt dingy. There were no oversheets on the beds and it was cold so we slept in our sleeping bags. Breakfast was basic - toast, banana, tea/coffee and omelette. There were only a few dishes available on the dinner menu. (Note: In Indian hotels, not all the menu seems to be available)

1) Overpriced. given the below conditions, it should have cost around $12/night 2) They gave one half-length towel for two of us to share 3) There was only one undersheet on the bed, no oversheet. The undersheet was stained and had little hairs on it. When we asked for a replacement, they brought us a urine-stained sheet. When we asked... More

I was misguided by the trip advisor rating and booked the same online. It was a terrible experience. Dont want to be back there in future. The Wi fi never worked, Newspaper as promised never came, the tea maker came after insisting for it many times with a few tea bags supplied once never to be refilled. There were noise... More
