Stayed in a cheap double room ( 300 rupee each) decent beds and clean. Bathroom had all the necessities, however the sink led only to floor, then to a separate drain. Despite this the bathrooms were fine allying as you it mind a refreshing cold shower. For the price the Reims were good, a I'm told the air-con rooms are... More

Its a budget Hotel, I had read some reviews and decided to book it. But the AC room had no functional AC. The room was quite small, stuffy and lacked proper ventilation. TV was not working. There was only one plug point for charging any of our phones. The bathroom was small and no hot water. Restaurant had an excellent... More

The view is probably the best in town and the food of the restaurant is good as well . Dispite the greasy menucard and salt/pepper pots food is fine and priced reasonable. Simcard sized rooms with nanocard sized bathrooms are overpriced. Water pressure is so low that showering is almost impossible , warm water not available. Room are unbearable hot,... More

In short, this was the worst hotel during my trip to India. Despite paying for air conditioning in the room, this never worked, despite repeated complaints, making the room stiflingly hot to try and sleep in. The room was in terrible condition with paint flaking off the walls, the tv did not work, the bathroom was so small it was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. This hotel has an absolutely amazing location in Agra literally seconds from the south gate of the Taj Mahal. The rooftop view is absolutely amazing especially at sunset when it is very atmospheric and cool enough to sit out. However I would only recommend this place as a good spot to... More

The paint was falling one the bed, water ran into the room while showering and the WIFI never worked. The staff had to keep moving the furniture in the common areas to avoid the leaks. The only redeeming feature was the view and the rooftop cafe. Staff charged extra for WIFI but refused to refund the cost.

Rooms are reasonable here and prices are fair. However they are nothing to get excited about and if power goes out as it often does they can get oppressively hot. Rooftop restaurnt offers decent food but the real star is the stunning view of the Taj Mahal.

We decided to sty here after seeing it in the Lonely Planet. I find that usually when a guesthouse gets into the LP they tend to let their standards slip a little because they are guaranteed business and i thought this was true with Saniya. The rooftop view is absolutely amazing and out of this world, I remember being in... More

We stayed at Saniya Palace for what was supposed to be 1 night in Agra. When we checked in we were shown choices of rooms which was nice so we could pick what we wanted. The price was excellent for the value of the room. The rooftop restaurant patio was the seller though. Great food and the most beautiful views... More

If you are happy to rough it, or are used to Indian accommodation standards, staying here is worth it just for the restaurant. Our room with fan was small and therefore unbearably hot at night. Decor made you feel a little dizzy, sheets seemed clean but blanket certainly didn't. Under bed looked like it hadn't be cleaned in a while... More
