During our visit to Ooty, we stayed at Ratan Tata Officers Holiday Homes. This 8,5 acres property includes a beautifully wooded hill, a heritage bungalow, children play areas, badminton courts and rose garden. The property was initially bought by Sir Ratan Tata in 1830. It has subsequently been donated to Defense Services as a hospice for recovering soldiers. Today it... More

A budget hotel with nominal facilities , lots of place walk around. Very avg food, you cab have lits if variety of foods within walkable distance, Not far away from the town, Room heaters were provided on request, cots can't fit the whole family, Extra mattresses are horrible. I will not dare to visit this place again,

The rtohh in ooty is a very calm and peaceful place to stay. We had stayed there for four days and three nights. Everynight me (Akshat Pandey) and my father (Rakesh Pandey) went for a nice, pleasant and peaceful walk down and up entrance slope. We liked it very much. Sometimes my mother and cousins came with us too. The... More

I could have never imagined that a place as magnificent as this one could bw located in the middle of the bustling town of Ooty. All the major sight seeing places in Ooty like the boat house, botanical garden and the market are within 10minutes of drive. Basic, clean rooms at very reasonable cost. Did not try the food here.... This property is very old. Situated on a high point in Ooty, this 20 room bungalow is surrounded by trees and small garden. It was going under renovation. Lot of water seepage was noticed. Room charges are not much but charges for use of geyser, Cable TV, heater etc are extra, which comes to around Rs.300 to Rs.400 per day.... More

A quaint little place nestled in 8 acres of woods. In the madness that is now called Ooty, the Ratan Tata Officers Holiday Home retains its unique identity of a hill resort. Once a convalesce home for the British officers, it was handed over by the Tatas to the Indian army after independence. It has 13 rooms, which are not... More

This is an excellent location for getting the real feel of Ooty. A pristinely maintained 144 year old bunglaw, it's surrounded by trees on all sides giving it an exclusive, secluded feel. It's run by defence, so everything is well maintained and timely. Can't think of a better place to stay in Ooty. Best for families.
