In all the years that I have been to Ooty I have only frequented another famous star property and have ignored this one, alas what a mistake. If your a heritage aficionado like me your in for a treat. The grounds are sprawling and fairly well kept. We booked a luxury room but since the hotels occupancy was not so... More

We stayed at this property from 6th sept to 9th sept 2014. The property is centrally located and derives most of the advantages of being the summer retreat of the Wadiars. It huge really quiet and set amongst good forest and equal among of lawns ; the drive around the property is spectacular and gives you the exact feel of... More

Staff are very friendly and aim to please. We stayed at the regents suite. Very spacious and majestic. The lounge area could be more tastefully designed. But currently has these two extra beds, this would be ideal of traveling with children, but for just a couple it's not very tasteful. The grounds are nice and enjoyable. Wifi is limited to... More

One of the best Heritage Palace Hotels we have stayed. Its architecture, size, garden, interior halls, dinning area, decoration, everything has this luxurious feeling of an aristocratic colonial & Indian past. The approach to the Palace, bypassing the lush green roadways, silent pathways, welcoming flags. The Palace grounds accentuates the alpine look of the place with its manicured gardens, firs & cedars. The Palace is spread out over 50 acres of green... More

My spouse and i had booked our honeymoon at Fernhill and stayed for 4 days-3 nights. We arrived after an arduous and delayed journey, only to be greeted by the gentle May showers which sent us scurrying to our auto and we were on the way to Fernhill. . The way leading upto the summer palace of Wadiyars is just stunning... More

colonial and classy. this is a must do on a trip to ooty, even if it's just for a meal. was pleasantly surprised to find it so reasonable. The erstwhile palace of the kings of mysore, this palace hotel is majestic to look at and immediately transports you to the glorious past. The staff is friendly and well informed. The... More

went just after the New year peak season....lovely looking property no doubt. However, whats is more charming is the level of personalized service . .from every member of the staff......one interaction with the general manager, and we knew excellent service is in their DNA. Nice room, and well done bathrooms. Spotlessly clean hotel... even the top edges of photo frames... More
