We had an overnight train from Puducherry and arrived in late into Madurai. I was glad to see this accommodation open. It was Rs1300 for 24hrs and had AC. The rooms were adequate as was the bathroom. No bugs and was quiet. The staff were friendly and I found this place to be in a good spot for restaurants and... More

Firstly the reception people are friendly. There is a dedicated lift operator, the sheets were clean in my room, and I had a good view. The room and bathroom were clean. It was a squat toilet though, but I didn't mind because it was clean. It has a really good location near the temple. There is a very tasty and... More

In the street, where this hotel is, you can spend a lot of money on AC and non AC room for about 2000 rupees per night. Or you can go to the TM lodge. The people were very nice and our room was very clean. We wanted to have a beer at around 8:30pm and one of the staff went... More

thyis lace is really hard to say anything good or bad about. at 660 ruppees we can't complain about price. its a bed and a toilet. i liked the location, walkable to the temple and good access to other restos and shops. not a pretty place , kinda cold, kinda dirty, kinda average.

This place is ok. 590rps for a fan double w. tv. Good location - easy 10 minutes stroll to the temple through a lively commercial zone. Close to bus and train. Fairly drab rooms, but clean with fresh paint. Mattresses thin foam but acceptable. Double bed is two singles pushed together. Upstairs rooms have little balconies overlooking nothing much. Fairly... Cheap price, clean sheets, comfortable bed. We loved our room on the top floor which was very light, with a small balcony and had a good atmosphere. It was a cool place to escape the bustle of Madurai. The staff were very kind and helpful. Only downside was that there were no mosquito screens on the windows.

I would say this would be the perfect choice if you are looking for budget accommodation in Madurai. The place is very near to Periyar Bus stand and it is near to railway station, shopping area, Madurai Meenakshi temple etc. The location is just perfect. The room rent is very cheap which came around INR 600/- for double room single... More

47 degree heat, rattling fan, can't breath, why? I had a massive smoke incinerator (chimney burning waste including plastic) stack right outside my window - discussing. I cancelled my second night here and went to a hotel down the road (much better). The staff were extremely rude here too!

We stayed here twice - both only for one night though. Great location - easy walking distance to shops, food, train station, bus stand and Temple Complex. All the worker are nice and very polite. Rooms can be a little noisy at night but our room was okay. They were clean, comfortable and had a little balcony. Both the rooms... More

TM Lodge has been a awesome place for a couple of days for the location, cleanliness, friendly staff and pocket friendly tariffs. This is situated in West Perumal Maistry Street which is bang opposite the Railway station. Check-in is a breeze and we preferred to take the rooms on 5th Floor as it had balcony with some view. Check in... More
