The property is extremely well situated (not in the middle of the bustling town center but a little away) and very scenic. The staff is very very courteous and made sure all our whims and fancies were met with !!!. They even arranged a barbecue for the 4 of us (of course at a cost) and it was a really... More

My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay at this beautiful lush green property. The location of the property is excellent - it is a stone's throw away from Sim's park and yet far away from the maddening crowds. The property itself is very well maintained with spacious and well equipped rooms. The restaurant at the property is... More

We were a large group of 8 adults and 9 children. And the place was perfect for us. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms; open sprawling lawns to play in or to just enjoy a cup of tea; good and varied selection of wholesome food from the restaurant; superb service by the polite staff members; and a lot of privacy for... After hearing a lot about the place from friends, went for a lunch yesterday. (Read about the first time miss below, where they'd turned us away. And to the management, I don't understand your reasoning: would an airline send a message to the travel agency is a flight is cancelled?) Anyway. This time, a beautiful clear day, wonderful setting and... More

We visited the Hotel ( Rather homestay) last weekend and were disappointed with the overall package. First of all its a very small propety with only 6 rooms. Out of which only 3 rooms are OK. 3 other rooms are like interconnected and have no privacy what so ever. The La Bella restaurent in the front of Hotel is main... More

Dear Mr. Gaurav, Thank you very much for your feed back. I would like to clarify a few points: 1: You came through GoIbibo. They know our inventory is only 6 rooms. It is a small property and we have no where potrayed it to be anything else. 2: There was a private party on the lawns and I am... More

We booked through an internet booking site. When we reached (my 6 year old and me), there was a movie shooting going, and we were told there was no room for us. When I showed them the confirmation email, the guy took us to another little B&B down the road (which turned out to be quote okay, BTW). Maybe the... More

Dear Sir, At the outset, let me apologise for the inconvenience caused to you and your son because of having to shift properties. When we realised that the film unit was taking over the whole place and it would cause inconvenience to guests in the rooms we sent Booking.com a message informing them of this. I am sorry for the... From the welcome on arrival to the magnificent room and the good restaurant meals we thoroughly recommend this historical bungalow homestay style hotel. We stayed overnight before boarding the train to Ooty and this worked very well.Must also mention the stunning views from the property and the charming gardens.

Excelent resort with great hospitality service. Ideal place for a relaxed and comfortable vacations. Lots of places around the property with great views of the town and kids friendly play areas. The private campfire area is the highlight.Kudos to the Mciver team and wishes to keep up the good work.

180 McIver, as its name says, is situated on a hillside with a 180-degree view over Coonoor. It's a lovely heritage hotel with lots of antique furniture and features. They have a good restaurant La Belle Vie serving fine food at reasonable prices, e.g. chicken Hyderabad INR300, muttar paneer 200. People come from other hotels to dine there. Highly recommended.
