Gangaur Palace is located in the heart of Udaipur. Very close to Bagore ki Haveli, walkable distance from City Palace. Rooms are very neat and clean, with very good ambience. The owner, Mr Akshay is a very great person and very friendly at same time. I strongly recommend this hotel. 5 star from my side! A good hotel which fits... More

I stayed for a night there. The Hotel is in very congested area. Its an old Haveli which is converted into a hotel with very nice art gallery inside. I found rooms are not big but enough comfortable to stay and rest. I found some faults in cleaning, specially in my bathroom. There is no room service and no intercom.... More

Gangaur palace is great located in the center of Udaipur. The rooms are big and clean and due to the thick walls of the original haveli it remains relatively cool in the rooms. The manager/owner gave us tips and warnings as we were female travelers which was really kind. The only downside of this hotel is that it can be... More

You will find cheerful and helpful the few people at the reception desk. Rooms are all decent, some of them having a special charm. Rates are honest. You will... More

I'm currently on my last night stay at the Gangaur Palace hotel. The rooms are as advertised with the heritage feel and the hotel is walking distance to the Jagdish Temple and the dance show is just down the street. However, of the 3 days here, we've only seen someone at the front desk once. We wanted a city map... More

We stayed here for two nights. The building of the hotel is an old haveli and includes several nice shops on the ground level. Although, the room, in which we stayed, was a bit rundown, it still had a lot of haveli-charm. We stayed in one of the not yet renovated rooms, thus, it was a bit cheaper (600 Rs).... More
